D Sands Condominium Motel, Lincoln City

I loved this place. It sits right on the beach, and it was very peaceful and relaxing. The room was beautiful had a gas fireplace, the rooms smelled good, and they were extremely clean, and they came with a nice size kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and toaster. The staff was very friendly check in time took no longer than about 5 minutes truly awesome experience. I plan on visiting Lincoln City again at the end of August, and I will be choosing this facility. I would recommend this Motel to anyone.. Absolutely Gorgeous rooms, Wonderful atmosphere, and an absolutely stunning, and beautiful view of the Ocean. LOVED IT !!!!!!

On our honeymoon we traveled along the coast and we stayed there for one night. I rooms were big and the staff was friendly. The place was really clean when we were there.

I grew up there every summer because we had a condo, this is the best place, kitchen, bedroom, murphy bed firplace and right on the beach. It is AMAZING!

My wife and I have stayed here twice now, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff was friendly and helpful, from the initial reservations,to a week later when we checked out. The rooms were right on the beach, Whale watching was spectacular this time. . Restaurants were close and reasonably priced. Thanks for the great time.

This was a great place to take a vacation. The Suite was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the view was fantastic. A couple of reviews had complained about the road noise, but we did not notice any noise at all. When we arrived we figured it was going to cost about $200 a night, but they had a Managers Special for only $94 a night. It was by far the best deal we could find. My wife and I highly recommend the D Sands.

The view is fantastic. Very clean and great access to the beach. Having a kitchen is wonderful, but please don't forget your fresh baked cookies, what a treat. We stayed at other motels down 101 and came back. We will be coming back.

The room was fine, it had a great view. We will not stay right off 101 anymore, too much road noise. The price seemed a bit steep for the room. A stay on the coast can not be ruined but we will stay else where next time.

Great location, great beach access, nice clean room, great kitchen and supplies. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not so great, horrible road noise, bedroom faced Highway 101 and you couldn't have the window open to take advantage of any cross breeze, I had to wear earplugs at night even with windows closed. Hotel is at bottom of big hill and you get LOTS of noise from cars, bikes, trucks accelerating up and slowing down coming down. we were on top 3rd floor and it great view. would probably stay there again, but might look at other places off the highway next time.

Last year we stayed here and it was picture perfect. We raved to friends & family about the beautiful ocean view and beachfront property. This year our suite smelled of cigarette smoke ( a non smoking hotel completely) When I asked for something to mask the odor since no other rooms were available they said sure no problem. The guy never did bring me anything. Ended up buying some Febreeze. The pool was broken for 4 days and they refused to give us any sort of a discount. Act of God. Sounded a bit like an insurance salesman. On our last day there, found seagull feathers under our bed and dresser. Hadn't looked earlier but that creeped me out abit. Just not anything like our previous visit, I hope other travelers have a better stay than we did.
