$10 too much for rooms here.

Checked in about midnight with my 80+ year old father to visit family over the holidays. In the interest of time I began completing customer data, but since my dad was paying for our rooms, clerk insisted HE complete BOTH data sheets, taking a l-o-n-g time to complete .
Customer service went downhill from there. Bathroom light fixture and fan hung about 6" from the ceiling. Bathroom light switch inoperable so light on 24/7. Bathroom fan sounded like broken tie rod scraping on highway when operating. Hole the size of my head in fabric on luggage bench. Smoke detector wires hanging out of wall; smoke detector found in dresser drawer. Bathroom sink hung good 3" from countertop in front section. Door frame not attached to wall on one side, hung loose making chain lock inoperable. Pedestal lamp missing 1 of four feet, so it had major tilt. No blankets on the bed or available at front desk. Writing in drawers as to who did what with whom. Writing of names and additional data on who did what with whom on woodwork. Green painted walls patched with white. Phone only worked on speaker. Tub chipped and so nasty I stood on towel when showering. All fabrics in room stained badly. Rungs from desk chair loose and hanging on the floor. Legs on desk loose so desk leaned one direction or the other by 4" or more. Whirlpool tub in bathroom, but controller knob removed, so no way to turn it on. From the looks of the rest of the room I'm guessing it didn't work either. Dried substances of something that had sprayed on wall by bed. Minimal parking around the building so forced to park a distance away from our room. Multiple pieces of furniture on the ground surrounding the dumpster.
On the positive side, television, microwave and refrigerator worked great.
