DON"T STAY HERE

If having to leave the hotel at 1am isn't reason enough to avoid this property, then nothing probably is. I can not stay strongly enough our dissatisfaction with the hotel and its staff. While others may not post here, we are not alone in our experience at this hotel

Needs new management

We used to stay here when we came through Columbus, but this time has been the last. You cannot get any satisfaction from the front desk. They are working for the customers, but they have forgotten that. If the front people have a deaf ear to the customer, they will find another place to stay. I will.

great location would go back

my family stayed here for several days the room was very clean the ac would keep you cool, staff very friendly the inside and outside pool is nice. location nice close to area atrractions such as the zoo cosi, and magic mountain. the only downfall i have with thisis on saturday/sunday morning when the lounge closes it is very noisy horns blowing music loud and it looks like a parade going thru the parking lot other than that our stay was good and would recommend this place maybe thru the week would be more quieter.

bad place, bad service

The worst place to stay in Columbus OH. I made my reservation for 8 nights through Expedia. I requested a king bed. When I arrived they give me a 2 queen bed room. I tried with the guy at the reception to change my room but he refused, he replied" go check with Expedia". I asked for a baby crib and he gave me a broken and dirty crib. I returned the crib to him asking for another one and he said" I don't have". My family and I could not sleep that night, my baby slept on the floor because i could not move thee mattress from the bed. I had a bad experience. I contact Expedia and they advised me to check out, and I did so. Even when I checked out, I asked for a paper show that I checked out and they refused to give it to me. The guy at the reception repeated his colleague word "go check with Expedia". Expedia did a great job and help me a lot in my problem, they also refunded me.

The Comfort Inn .5 miles away is better!

After arriving from a long day of driving, I see the hotel and think to myself "HOTWIRE has not researched this property" Needless to say I won't use that service again.... Anyway the room was old the carpet matted, the drapes torn and worn, the bathroom did have some updates, probably because of water damage I later discovered. The bed was harder than the floor and worn out. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, the trashy rodeway inn looked more appealing than this dreadful place.....

This is a great place to stay. The kids love the pool and so do I. The staff has been friendly and there are some resturants within walking distance. When I checked in the man at the front desk gave me information on things to do with kids that were close. This was a huge help!! We will be back, for sure.

Great Place to meet and greet

We have been holding the RC Reunion at the Best Western Columbus North Hotel for the past 5 years and it looks like we will be doing it again this year. The facilities are great for our yearly reunion of 200 people plus. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and the OSU Campus and very easy to get to location. The room rates are a bargain and a clean and nice. We have a meal catered in for a banquet which was excellent and reasonable and the Hotel Staff is great to work with. The location is within 20 minutes of our favorite night club the Princeton. This is very clean and a nice place to hold a reunion. I would recommend this place to anyone who is holding a meetings, reunions or gatherings in Columbus Ohio. We have booked again for this Sept 14-16, and looking forward to staying here again. just average

We stayed for 2 nights. After the first night, I placed the placard on the door for housekeeping service that afternoon while we were out. Room service never came. Called the front desk and was told maybe they misread the sign. The sign has 2 options, "Housekeeping, please" or "Do Not Disturb" You mean to tell me they couldn't tell the difference? The bed was comfy, had a hard time getting the room temperature to a comfortable level. The TV reception was terrible and I was disappointed indoor pool/spa area. The indoor pool is not even in the same building as the hotel. It is in a public gym across the street. I didn't like that at all. It was an average stay, nothing great, nothing horrible.

Grandson want's to go back

the rooms was nice and clean the people was nice. it had a nice big pool inside and a nice pool out side. the service was good the tv and phone was broke and they came and fixed them right away. the only thing i did'nt like was the noise frm the people across the hall and next door.
