Econo Lodge Inn & Suites, Warren

First off, the supposed remodeling that they did was horrible. I would hate to have seen these rooms before. The first impression was a mixture of indian food and bug spray smell in the hallways. The rooms were filthy, when we walked on the carpet barefoot, the bottoms of our feet turned black! YUCK! Halfway through our reservation, we found bedbugs under the sheets! When we told the manager, he couldn't have cared less. It was obvious that all he wanted was the money. Having read some of the other reviews, over a year ago, there was supposed to be a pool? Nope. The place was spotless? Double nope.The staff was helpful and courteous? RESOUNDING NOPE!!!! RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE would be more like it! Needless to say, we checked out early, and went to the Days Inn down the street. Cleaner place, nicer staff.
