Gorgeous location, Hotel is a dump...

I am from California and this was my first time visiting Mohican Park. The views and grounds are absolutely breath taking. There is an expansive list of activities for family's with younger and older children. The resort however is truly run down, dirty, and the service at the resort's restaurants was pretty bad. If I had to describe in one word, it would be "dirty."

Awesome Hiking Trails

This place is magnificient. The hiking trails are wonderful. Not for the physically challenged, but if you want to get your heart rate up and enjoy the sights while doing it, this is the place. If you are really creative, you can get off the beaten path and then the fun really begins!! Also try conoeing at Mohican Adventures, that was a blast too!

Great Experience!

The place was beautiful! However the facilities as far as the hotel room ( bed in particular) was dirty. The sheets smelled and is didn't seem like you washed the sheets from the last time someone stayed in the room.

My 30 Years of Experiences at Mohican

I have visited Mohican State Park Resort with my family and friends for thirty years. It should be obious by the number of return trips it is a marvelous spot. I began going as a high school student with my family and have continued to go with my own children and siblings each autumn and on several occasions in the summer. The nearby attractions are equal to the beauty and comfort provided at Mohican. I am very glad that it has recently undergone some renovations. I look forward to seeing them this Memorial Day weekend when I visit with my family and friends. I live in Perysburg, Ohio and the trip takes about three hours, so it is easily accessable for weekend getaways. I've been on many vacations to glamourous places. However, I must say that Mohican Resort is at the top of my list. We have made many wonderful family memories that my family and I will treasure all of our lives.
