My experience is different
By Barb, 5/5/11
The room was beautiful, well-furnished, fresh, clean. Excellent bed, pillows, linens and down comforter. Bathroom was immaculate as were carpets, walls. Internet worked perfectly and was included in my business plan rate, along with full breakfast each morning. Staff were wonderful.

DISGUSTING - Hyatt should be ashamed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/11
Not going to take the time for a lengthy review but travelers need to BE WARNED. NOT like any Hyatt you have stayed at! Call it a 2 Star, at best. You might accept that this hotel t is ragged and worn out...I mean everything... rugs, wall paper, paint, curtains, shower grout, etc etc. But there is no excuse for the dirt and grime. Dictionary defines grime - "filth, esp when thickly accumulated or ingrained." I couldn't get out of this place fast enough!

Look elsewhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/27/11
The only thing I liked about this place was the lobby. The girl at check in was nice also. The guys out front were rude and parking is 23.50 . The internet costs you the tv was old the table/desk was junk it was so worn out I couldn't believe it was there. There was hair on the sink not head hair. I had wipes with me to clean out the sink and tub. They were not able to get me another room . Overall I would say this is worse than a motel 6 at least they are clean and a 5th of the price.

The Best Hotel in Cincinnati.....as far as I know
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/10
It couldn't be in a better location. Its just a walking distance from The Great American Ballpark is you go in the summer (which we did) and is right in Fountain Square. It couldn't have been a better stay!

Beware - Horrific Experience
By Sean, 10/1/10
Where to start - Walk in room for first time, spiders running across bed. Go into bathroom, scum and toothpaste, etc... on back of door. Looks like towels were refolded. Shampoos, soap, scattered around bathroom. No organization. Breakfast Buffet - Cold, Stale, etc.. all for one low price of 18$. My wife takes my daughter to the pool only to smell a stench. Jacuzzi had to be shut down. Huge dark scum rings around it. Electrical outlet burning in pool area. My wife call one hour ago and no one has yet to respond. Wait staff clueless. I am staying away from the Hyatt Brand of hotels from here on out. Horrific Experience

watch your bill
By Charlie, 9/2/10
Hello yes the room was great, but for the small bathroom, not enought light in the bathroom, the smell of the room, the hotel needs a makeover, the $22.00 a day for parking, plus they wait for a tip witch makes parking $25.00 or $27.00. Now I made it a point not to use my bank card in the hotel, they told me that they will hold $50.00, but when I came home and checked my checking account I found that they took over $138.00 and I believe that if I didn't call they would have kept my money, they had did not know they had my money (so they said). all in all it was a great weekend for me and my wife NO THANKS TO THE Hyatt Regency Of Cincinnati. SOOOOOOOOO WATCH YOUR BILL AND YOUR MONEY

Excellent stay!
By William, 7/5/10
When we first arrived, we were greeted by the friendly valet team which was very happy to direct us to the parking ramp or park our car for us. Once we entered the lobby, we were impressed by the sunny atrium with its multi-story sculpture fountain. The desk clerk, Beth, was very warm and friendly and quick to check us in. She then spent a few moments directing us to the various hotel amenities. When I asked for a room with a better view, she gladly reassigned us to the 16th floor. Our room was clean and comfortable and the king size bed was excellent. We slept very soundly all three nights of our stay. Parking was convenient and the price was comparable to that of other large cities. The attached walkway was an added benefit. All and all, we enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

Five star Roach Motel!!!
By JanaR, 7/25/09
Our troubles started at check in and lasted until check out. The girl at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending. I reserved a block of five rooms which were scattered all over the hotel. The carpet was filthy. There were roaches in one room, some of which made it home in the luggage! The cold water sink handle constantly fell off and so did the towel rack on the wall in the bathroom! Upon checkout I was charged $60 extra and the rude and condescending girl could not tell me what is was far, just that "this is the balance on your room." Which I had already paid for!!! Basically, we got a roach motel (literally) room at a Peabody price. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel. This one is all fluff and no quality past the extravagant fountain in the front lobby. Don't let all the marble and granite fool ya!

Convenient to downtown area, but wont be back!!
By shawniemay, 3/19/09
I had reservations for two King rooms ajoined and when I checked in they said there was no such room. Recieved 2 seperate kings and when I enterd the room it was so strong of cigars and urine I almost got sick. Asked to have different rooms and moved without problems. Service is great as far as front desk and valet!! but the pool is small and the area is potent with chlorine. No breakfast, not even coffee offered for free.

Expected Better
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/31/08
My wife and I had no reservation but were told we could have the last room available for $139.00 a night. I guess there was a convention going on and the Reds were in town playing the Cardinals. We entered the room to the smell of wet carpet, mold, and Ozium spray. The carpet was in fact wet in some areas. A note on the nightstand informed us that this was a non-smoking room and if we smoked we would be charged $250.00 to have the room cleaned. That seems like a lot for a $4.50 can of Ozium spray. The bed was like all other Hyatt Regency hotels we have stayed at....which is very comfortable. The bathroom was very, very, very small. We almost had to straddle the toilet to use the sink. Location was this hotels best feature. We had tickets to a Reds baseball game and the walk to the stadium was only a few blocks. Fountain square ( The fountain on the WKRP in Cincinnati TV show years ago ) also was just a few blocks from the hotel. All in all there are other hotels close by.....we will give one of them a try before going back to this Hyatt again.
