Airport USA Hotel, Fort Mitchell

I had stayed at this hotel 3 other times. However this time was the worst experience I have ever had. I stayed 2 nights and my room was never straightened or cleaned, trash never emptied, no clean towels. I went 2 times to front deck for towels and never got any. The bathtub was dirty. The whole thing was awful. If you are looking--go someplace else

It was a very good price, BUT it was not clean. We felt dirty just being there. The pool was questionable, the jacuzzi didn't work, and more games "ate" coins than used then. Don't be fooled by the price or the pictures of the pool. Gross. Our non-smoking room was complete with an ashtray, and don't get a room facing the pool area if you plan on sleeping before 11pm or after 9am.

Yes the pool & arcade area was nice although very rundown & poorly maintained (treadmills didn't work,...) However the rooms (our group was in 3 separate rooms & not even close to each other as requested when reservations were made) were dirty, smelly, poorly maintained. The room I was in had LONG hairs in the shower, hairs in & around the sink area. The floor around & behind the toilet was wet the whole time we were there. There were also squished grapes on the floor of the main room (under a table & chair - who knows what else housekeeping missed!). I reported these twice to the front desk (very rude clerk) and nothing was ever done although she swore housekeeping had taken care of everything. Upon check-out I asked for a discount because of our dissatisfaction & the condition of the room. We weren't given any. We will never go back. Spend the extra money & stay somewhere you trust.

Although it is not the Hilton or Radisson - it was clean, although somewhat outdated. I am sure in it's time it was premo! The indoor heated pool and jacuzzi were very enjoyable and provided hours upon hours of entertainment for the kids. The arcade was small yet nice and provided extra enjoyment between swim sessions... Never made it to the bar or restaurant but heard it was nice. Fitness center was small yet would serve it's purpose. Staff was friendly and helpful and although short staffed they made every effort to attend to your needs as soon as you asked. My understanding is that it was recently purchased and is in transition - I look forward to returning again for $59.00 a night, with it's easy access to the interstate and Cinci not to mention all the fun the kids had - it was well worth it to me.

Horrible experience, rude staff, fire alarm sounded three times one night, two times next day. Fire department did not respond until a guest called 911. Staff lied about what was going on, different stories to different people. Peeping Tom in the middle of the night, hotel staff said 'oh that must be Travis'. When asked about a discount because of the loss of sleep from the alarms none given, not even a sorry. Noise in the dome area until after 2 AM, including a big barking dog!

Clean remodeled hotel with attractive indoor pool area, onsite bar. Good value close to Cincinnati Airport. Arrived at airport late in the evening and stayed here instead of driving into Cincinnati.

1st the door handles are falling off & the key cards did not work. 2nd the room was smelly, dirty, and no hot water. 3rd NO playground for kids. 4th hot tub was brown. 5th Hotel is very run down even though it was supposedly remodeled in 2005? 6th I didn't feel safe. You will not be happy you stayed here. Go to exit 182, hotels there are newer!!!! We stayed there in 9/2007 and it is very run down for being remodeled in 2005. We will not go back ever. Indoor pool and arcade are the only good things about this place.

Pros: large heated indoor pool and expansive indoor play area for kids- my young children had a great time. Cons: Anyone could enter from outside as door to outside did not lock. The room was comfortable and clean and we were treated well by staff. Don't expect the Hilton but a great place for families traveling with children.

We go to Newport and Cincinnatti every year. This is the first and the last time to stay in this hotel. The only thing it had going for it was the indoor play ground. The room was nasty. The card keys did not work and you litteraly had to use your shoulder to open the room door because it was jammed from being pried open so many times. The security locks on the out side doors suposedly to keep strangers from coming into the dome did not work. Every drink machine in the building was out of order except for the bar which would not give you change for the machines neither would the front desk. My wife left her cell phone on the television when leaving. We called back about 30 minutes later and it was no where to be found. I would never stay at this place again.

Rooms were dirty and overpriced, staff offers no assistance. It was almost empty on a holiday weekend and I can see why. Do not go here. Only redeeming quality is the playground for kids but not worth the $100 a night and that was a group rate.
