Cant have whole family in one room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/16/11
I did not stay at Best Western Kelly Inn because I have 5 children and they would not allow 2 adults and 5 children in one room. This is too bad because my kids were looking forward to the pool there. If this is the case they should give a large discount for the second room. Large families are not welcome at this hotel. Holiday Inn allows the whole family in 1 room. I look for family friendly when I stay at hotels.

Best hotel EVER
By SCross, 3/31/10
This place was amazing! We rented the Jacuzzi Suite for the night and it was beautiful. The best was so comfy and the jacuzzi was hot and in working order (which usually doesn't happen at most hotels, haha). The worker who checked us in was so wonderful, I wish I would have caught her name to give her a good review at the hotel. The breakfast was really really good. They had biscuits and gravy which my husband loved and I had biscuits and honey, there were also scrambled eggs, Belgium Waffles, muffins, juices, coffee, etc. Our entire stay was wonderful and was in a great area of Fargo. I was never scared of going outside or anything. I just wish I could relive this stay again and again!

Enjoyable stay
By BIG T, 3/26/09
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was always clean, the staff was always very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was also very good. The mattresses were very comfortable. The only thing that I would change would be the amount of handicap parking spaces in the front. It always seemed to be full. I think if you had one or two more that would be helpful. Again this is one of the best that I have stayed in.

Better to stay away
By fargo traveller, 10/23/08
We called the hotel for some add'n information prior to booking online. We were told that there was no availability for the 2 queen suite - even though the Best Western website indicated rooms available. When asked about the descrepancy we were told that if we tried making the res. online the system would not allow it to go through. Out of curiosity (as this same incident occurred with a different hotel earlier this year) we tried making a reservation online. We were successful in booking the 2 queen suite and received a confirmation number (this is what the hotel told us was not available). Following receipt of the confirmation we once again contacted the hotel to advise of the booking and to let them know that something was wrong with their reservation system. Without hesitation, the lady at the desk became extremely rude and said "we told you not to do that" and dispite my explaining that this same situation occurred with a different hotel she continued with "why would you do that", by the tone of her voice she was obviously very upset. Instead of apologizing for the error in their reservation system - she hung up. I called the Best Western Customer Service to issue a complaint. The information was taken and I was told that they would call back after contacting the hotel. One week later - still no call from Customer Service. I contacted them to find out the status of the complaint. Apparently, the hotel had advised 3 days after the complaint that they would honor the reservation (better room for the first night and back to the queen suite for the other 2 nights). However, it would appear that Customer Service never thought that they should contact the customer to provide an update on the complaint. We do not normally stay at Best Western hotels and with this experience we will certainly avoid them in the future (as the "Customer Service" from their head office is not much better than the hotel)

Fabulous place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/31/07
Although we only stayed one night, it was obvious this hotel is run with the customer in mind. It seemed like whenever we needed one, there was a staff person to help. Without exception, everyone was friendly, smiling, and very sincere. The rooms were spotless and very quiet. The courtyard was delightful and beautifully maintained.

LOVE THE BREAKFAST
By Peace Out, 3/12/07
Loved the breakfast. There was something for everyone. My baby neice got her banana, nephews got the choose from a variety of cereal. Three waffle makers and two toaster to make the wait faster. It is a older motel but it was ok. Under the beds was items. I liked the big vanities in the rooms. The only thing that bother me as it does in almost any motel is the heaters. They always keep me awake. If you like to drink there is a lounge. I also notice there was a outside pool. But inside pool was alright. They could keep the pool open until midnight as it is not near rooms. It is just as close to the lounge.
