Fairview Lodge, Minot

I have visited Minot 3 times...and for the very first time, I decided to stay at Fairview Lodge. THe rooms are very spacious and the price is fantastic. It ranges from 40-60 dollars. Although, it is an older building, but it sure was a nice place to stay. The manager is super nice and I felt welcomed. I will definitely return to the Fairview Lodge of Minot

This place is so quiet and nice. The rooms are like holiday inn but the prices are less. The room are really big. They have 2 queen size bed, microwave fridge telephone T.V. and good air conditioner .

I stayed in this place and the room was filthy. There was hair in the shower and in my bed. The floor was full of either rocks or mud, either way it needed a good cleaning. There were party people staying there also so, sleep wasn't on the adjenda. There was this very loud noise that covered the party every 15 minutes or so. I will not stay there again.

As once yearly visitors to Minot, we checked out the rooms a year ago - and thought we might stay here for less - should have checked closer.... I am not so sure the concept of how to use a vacuum cleaner is shown to the housekeepers. As one other writer commented, the walls were "filthy". On the second day, our friends weren't sure if they received clean towels or not, but the dirty towels had not been removed from their room. I know our bathroom floor wasn't swept as the same grundgy little thing on the floor was still there after the cleaning. Oh, and I have only seen children make a bed the way our bed had been made up - Sheets not flattened when tucked in. My inlaws once owned a motel and we fully understand that the rooms don't have to be the most up to date, but if they are clean and welcoming, the client will be more likely to return. Well, it was an adventure, but next year, we'll be dumping the private owner and going back to the Holiday Inn next door.

i went to this place this september, i had found a very good price for the room and the room was DEFINATELY more than its price. i would give it a 5/5.

I like this place it;s awesome . first time i stayed in this motel n i loved that place . the rooms are so big they are not expensive just from 40 to 60 the rooms are big they have fridge, two double beds tv telephone, i loved that place it is just like home..... i wish i can go again to that motel i want to say at lat that you should visit the motel you will like it......... the manager is so nice... they are from calafornia

The room walls, the towels and sheets were not clean. I had to purchase my own towels. I brought my own pillow and sleeping bag. My friend was not so lucky, she didn't have a sleeping bag and now she has sores on her legs that resemble bedbug bites. She is going to the doctor today to confirm. Fairview Lodge almost doubled the cost to stay per evening to $99.95 american. This was due to the North Dakota State Fair going on at this time. The only positive was that the Fair was just across the street. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this place.
