Grand International, Minot

Stayed here twice and both times the air did not work in either room. The person traveling with me got a dirty room, remote did not work, and took forever for her tv to load the first time. The second time her carpet is disgusting and should have been replaced long ago. The front desk staff is not all that friendly and when I forgot something the first time and called them about they told me to wait for housekeeping the next day, no asking if they could take my name and number, just said that I needed to call housekeeping and they said they would check and call me with an answer about my things and they never did and did not leave any messages with the front desk for my next visit. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will let my company know not to book rooms here again.

My company had multiple reservations booked through Thursday Sept 4. Today (Sept 3) they forced out our employees who were already staying in the hotel and checked-in through Sept 4. They were forced to leave because the hotel was overbooked, not because of any behavior or any other reason that would be deserving. The reservations were not booked incorrectly, it was simply poor management of the hotel. With the limited hotel availability in Minot our employees were essentially thrown to the streets. This is unreasonable and I would not recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip for more than one night. It's may be that you get asked to leave mid-reservation.

I was staying in Minot visiting my boyfriend who works in the oilfields. I have a tendency to be really picky about most things, even more so about hotels. I stayed here a weekend, and it was so comfortable--I LOVE the memory foam mattresses! The bar in the hotel is awesome; cozy, biggest top shelf liqour assortment I have ever seen in a hotel bar. I love martinis, its their specialty!! I am really satisfied; room updates rock and I had a nice time at their facility!

Not a great motel expecially for th price, no laundry services-have to go to laundomat 3 or 4 blocks away. Pretty fancy place but NO view-our room over looked the pool looks are deceving. Fan in bathroom made a terrible noise as did fridge. Save your money go to super 8. They also hold receptions-yep we had party goers yelling and making a ruckus til 2pm, front desk didn't seem to care. beds were ok tho. Yeah something good about hotel

While it does offer an excellent view of Minot, there is not much else good to say about this Hotel. The lobby is beautiful and well decorated, the pool area is enormous and very nice. The rest of the hotel is dingy and worn out to say the least. DO NOT judge this Hotel by its lobby, you will be sorely disapointed. The toilet was almost underneath the sink counter and you would have to hold it up the lid and seat unless you choose (or are otherwise biologically inclined) to sit down to take a pee... The rooms smelled horrible and the hallways were not much better. The hotel restaurant food was awful, with the exception being breakfast (eggs and bacon, I don't know how you could mess that up though). The internet was poor, the business center computers were older than time. The lightbulbs in all rooms were incandescents and most of them blew out during my stay and I never got them replaced, I asked if I could do it myself but was told I was not allowed. The last two days of my stay were in darkness. Stay here for the pool, or stay somewhere else!

Aside from the stay at the hotel being utterly atrocious, those unfortunate things seemed like only minor inconveniences. The real issue was bringing my family to the in-house restaurant, Prrimo, where the food was so terrible not one of us could finish it! We could have passed this off as poor cooking and simply not tipped, but then I saw a cockroach smashed into the carpet! When I complained to the waitress, she told me "hold on, I'll get someone," instead of just cleaning up the mess herself. I will NEVER be returning there, nor would i recommend it to anyone, ever.

very clean nice rooms good food, however some of the staff seemed to resent the fact that the hotel was very busy whitch of course is a good thing, serveral of the staff were walking around aimlessly and did not want to help any one, also the front entry to the hotell was very icy and dangerous, some rock salt and a person with a shovel in hand would solve this

We enjoy staying at this hotel when we pass thru into Saskatchewan. Good value for the money. Something a little nicer than the normal. We've stayed in comparable inns for quite a bit more money.

my kids love the arcade and the pool! hte hot tub is nice and i love how there is a resturaunt in the hotel the skywalk is neat too and the poolside rooms are a cool idea

I have stayed at this hotel every year for EMT convention for the last 15 years...although we make reservations they always argue with us on and try to short us a room (we reserve 4-6) This year I got a bill from them for one person although we had asked for the whole bill when we checked out. They were rude and I don't believe we owed them any more $$$. Watch your credit card, they might charge you again!
