Holiday Inn Express Wilkesboro, Wilkesboro

My husband and myself stayed at the Holiday Inn Express instead of the Boone, NC area mainly because of the price. The rates at this hotel were about half of what we would have paid in Boone and for the price, the extra 20 minute drive was well worth it. The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms looked fantastic. They informed us the hotel had underwent a major renovation late last year and you could really tell. The rooms were clean and looked like new. We enjoyed the microwave and refridgerator that was in the room. The free breakfast buffet was great because they had eggs, sausage, bacon and some healthier choices which we enjoyed. The hotel is located on the major highway in the town, so getting to the local restaurants and the shopping area was no problem. I highly recommend staying here.

We had our Wedding Reception in the Ballroom and it was awesome. Everything was set up perfectly and went according to plan. The Manager, Matt, was always more than willing to help. We didn't have to clean up.
