STAY AWAY!
By libtardsuc, 5/29/06
The cockroaches must stay free cause there sure are a lot of them! Don't waste your time with this place. If you are going to Lake Jordan either stay at the Comfort Inn across the street or go to the 64 & US 1 junction that has newer hotels. I took my bags to the room, smelled around, looked around and went to the desk to cancel. They did with no hassles and even apologized. I think the help was embarrassed by the condition. Tim PS. No internet connection either as advertised.

AWFUL
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/20/05
This hotel is terrible. I've stayed in many hotels over the years and the service at this one was the worst I've ever had! Also, the hotel was generally just worn out and smelly. You would be making a HUGE mistake to book a room at the Days Inn in Apex.

A COMPLETE DUMP
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/20/05
This hotel is a DUMP! My husband and I stayed here while looking for housing in the Raleigh area (we will be relocating in a few months). We were trying to take a budget trip--however, there are several hotels in the area that are in the same price range which we KNOW are significantly nicer--DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The hotel smells awful--like a combination of smoke and mildew. When we first arrived, we were given a room in which the lock didn't work properly--it took 5-10 tries to get the door open. We were told "there is a trick to it," when seeking the manager out for help. He tried to model opening the door, but it took him 5-10 tries to get it open. We asked for another room and after some debate, were given another room. After about 20 minutes of settling into our room, there was a knock on the door. It was another guest who had previously been assigned to the room. We all proceeded to the front desk for some resolution. The front desk clerks barely speak English and were not interested in rectifying the problem. Finally, after much negotiation, we were given another room--it was smoky (we're both non-smokers), the bathroom door was dirty, the sheets had stains on them, the blanket was rough and had holes in it and overall, the room was just gross. I am not a picky traveler and can be pretty patient and tolerant, but this was an AWFUL experience and you couldn't pay me to spend another night in this hotel. STAY AWAY!!!
