Disappointed this time 12/20/08 thru 12/27/08
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/08
Very nice Hotel. We have stayed here several times. Wonderful linens and very clean but this time our bed were awful. Room 658 The beds need to be replaced. We had a room with 2 double beds. We came to NC the week of Christmas to visit our Daughter's family. Our 2 grandchildren stay there with us while we are in town. The pool is indoors but it isn't heated so it was too cold for our grandkids to enjoy. Our door on our room had large gaps around it so alot of noise came thru. It appeared as if the door had been broken into. It was the week of Christmas so the Hotel was pretty quiet so I wasn't sure why the need to vacumn outside of our door around 9:00 am. We were unable to sleep late. The Hotel is clean but we will be looking for another Hotel on our next trip. We might go back at a later time but we will be shopping for a new place to stay. Price wasn't the option-the facilities were a big factor.

Wonderful stay in Raleigh
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/08
We stayed at the Crabtree Marriott for two nights with our grandchildren. The hotel staff was exceptionally accommodating. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the garden area. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were great fun, and the bathrooms were clean. The reception area had complementary drinks and goodies for the children. We enjoyed our stay and will return again when we visit the grandchildren in Raleigh.

Slightly disappointed.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/07/07
We really enjoyed the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room but we were really disappointed in a few things. When I checked out the rooms online it showed a wide screen tv, which our room did not have. There was a rather large gap under the entrance door which let a lot of noise in from the outside hall, local phone calls costs us $1.00 each which we thought was rediculous, very short ceilings in bathroom and no exhaust fan, shortage on linens and towels because of water restrictions, and a water bubbling noise coming up through our bathroom sink every morning really early. My husband and I justed wanted a quiet weekend away but all in all, it wasn't very relaxing. We feel the price was too much for what we got.

NICE HOTEL
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/07
THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE AND LOCATED DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE MALL.(HOW NICE). THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE MORE BUT IT WAS PROBABLY BECAUSE OF THE CONVENIENTS OF EVERYTHING. THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

By First, 02/14/07
My wife and I really enjoyed our visit last year.I like this Marriott because it's hidden away. It's a very clean and private hotel, my wife and I are making plans to return our next Anniversary.

By MissNikki, 11/06/06
The employees are nice, the hotel is wonderful and the beds are heavenly...literally. Everytime I'm in Raleigh and I can get a room there, I'm there! If you're ever in Raleigh in the Crabtree area and need a place to stay...Go to the Marriott Raleigh Crabtree Valley.

The Best Bed Ever
By Veronica, 08/17/06
The beds there are the absolute BEST!!! I was so impressed with the bedding that if the room was unclean it probably wouldn't have mattered (maybe after a good night's rest it would have)! I called the front desk TWICE inquiring about the bedding! Apparently, it's common for people to ask about their bedding because they have a catalog in the rooms for EVERYTHING used in their rooms: shower curtain and rod, Bath & Bodyworks lotion/shampoo/conditioner, Chenille throws, chaise lounger, matress pads, pillows, etc! I couldn't believe it. I fell so in love with their bedding that I'm willing to part with close to $600 to recreate the same (or a very similiar) experience and feeling of their bed in my own room! Honestly, words do it no justice! You have to try it for yourself!

Not worth the money
By mikealao2, 02/23/06
The service is excellent, the rooms and hotel areas are clean, the location is great because it is right across the street from a mall and restaurants. The beds are comfortable, I agree, but the bathrooms are small, cramped, and look like they have not been updated since the 70's. Broadband costs $9+ per day and local calls are a $1. The hotel is not bad, but it is not worth the money.

I loved it.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/05
First of all the bed's are the best,I could sleep in all day. The rooms are very clean, very frendly staff and the location is great. I've stayed in this Hotel once and absolutly loved it, only bad thing was that I only stayed for 2 nights.I am going back in 2 weeks. It is the only hotel I'll stay in when I go to Raleigh.
