Masters Inn Merchandise Mart, Charlotte

I didn't even check my room, as soon as reached the parking lot of the hotel, it looked very sketchy. The near by neighboorhoods didn't look very good. The looby was no well kept. I just didn't feel comfortable staying there, so I left without even chekcing my room.

Homeless people congregated in the parking lot. Ants were crawling across bathroom counter. I caulked the crack with toothpaste, which worked. Then toilet stopped up for an hour. Also, there was NO refrigerator, NO microwave, NO iron and board and NO alarm clock as advertised in our confirmation email. Wake up calls were put through half the time (we stayed 5 days and needed to get up early). I relied on my alarm watch to get up. I definitely expected more from a Master's Inn.
