All around disappointing! NOT RECOMMENDED
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/11
The website and staff will boast about their heated outdoor pool "open year round." this is disingenuous at best and a blatant lie at worst. What they don't tell you is the pool is only open if the temperature is above freezing... Aka NOT YEAR-ROUND. I understand the policy but the fact that they deliberately leave this info off their website is seriously frustrating. As for the rooms, the beds are small and the wi-fi only worked in half the rooms we rented. Don't stay here... Go down the road to the Little Main Street Inn... You will not regret it!!!

Cut stay short, won't go back
By hh, 1/8/09
This hotel was a huge disappointment. First off there was no fridge and microwave, even though we were told there was when we made the reservation. They brought us a fridge and made us PAY RENT on it!!! The bed was extremely uncomfortable, there was next to no water pressure, the toilet screamed bloody murder when it flushed, the coffee pot was a tiny one-cup-at-a-time thing, the towels were scratchy and threadbare, and the lights were all of the harsh fluorescent variety. Oh, and the best part, we had a do not disturb sign on our door, so the staff called our room to check if we still didn't want to be disturbed. Whoa. But, I give it two stars instead of one because it was very clean and the staff was mostly friendly.

Not Impressed
By msfranthrope, 8/21/06
Stayed two nights. There was no coffee, creamers, etc. left for the second night. There was hair IN the coffemaker and around the sink. (Not a lot, but yuck!) One outlet didn't work so one lamp was of no use. The walk outside the room was crumbling and had peeling paint. On a more positive note the staff was very polite and helpful. The Best Western in Boone was nicer AND had free breakfast.
