The Days Inn Asheville is located in the North Carolina mountains and is located conveniently on Interstate Highway 26, minutes away from Interstate Highway 40. WNC Agricultural Center is one miles away, Boscoes is two, French Broad Golf Course is three, Blue Ridge Parkway is five, and Biltmore Estates is nine miles from the hotel. Should have chosen another.

I usually like Days Inns...reasonable, but this was not so hot! We were traveling from the highlands, no agenda just my husband and I getting away for the weekend and hitting the roads to explore. It started to get late and we stopped there. We requested a king bed, but were told there were none available. The carpet felt dirty. The refrigerator had mold in it, I was told that it was grease by the front desk....still....yuck! A light was out by the tv and the volume on the tv did not even work! No sound most of the time then it would blair and fade away. The sink did not drain. I see online that the price is $55 a night and we were charged more, Last but not least...There was a king room right next to ours vacant all night!

Absolutely Terrible

It was nasty..... The TV was 3 different colors, the room stank, pillows were dirty too. I used a sleeping bag and my own pillow. I would have left but my company booked the room. I already told them NEVER again, I will sleep in the truck!

Stay away, a long ways away

This place is to be avoided. Old, dirty, useless staff, Checked in to a room, returned that night to find the ceiling had fallen in. Owner was very resistant to giving us another room. He shouted and claimed he had no other rooms (there were 7 cars in the parking lot). I took a little tour of the motel and found several vacant rooms and went back to see him. He still did not want to provide another room - all of the ones I spotted were handicap capable and he wanted to "keep those available." This was at 9:30 PM - not likely that 4 sets of handicapped visitors were about to arrive. He only agreed to the other room when I started asking about the Days Inn higher HQs or possible the health inspector. Stay away, not worth the 10 dollars you might save.

Out of necessity

The toilets would not flush. The shower curtain was covered in mold. There were bed bugs( a member of our party is an exterminator. When we mentioned to the management about our problems, they handed us a plunger and said no one else was here to complain to.If the area hadn't been packed, we would have left in a hurry.
