My Go to Choice
By Bobay, 05/15/09
I have stayed here on many occasions. I like the location of this motel for access to Fort Bragg. Their rates are reasonable. The workout room is pretty good compared to what most places have. The rooms are in reliably good condition and cleanliness. They have a couple of problems. Their front desk is small, usually operated by one person. Very often there is a line to wait on as the clerk slowly process one person at a time- aggravating. They have a long running problem with room keys that stop working. On a couple of visits I had to go back to the front desk to get mine fixed. Last trip I saw someone come to the desk with that problem, plus a woman who reported that twice strangers had opened her door with a different room key card. Why they won't get this fixed, I can't imagine. Their restaurant is small and slow. I have given up on it in favor of the K&W Cafeteria next door- there you can get a delicious breakfast at amazingly speed and low price.

uncomfortable situation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/07
I was there with the Cape Fear Heart Associate. First of all, the ladies room was filthy. No toilet tissue, no paper towels, Empty toilet rolls in hallway. When we first entered the Buffet, the workers were finishing up the food line. There was a dispute between the manager, the one with dark glasses, and a nice Black server, the manager was rude to the server, abusing her verbally in front of us. I attended the function last year, and everything was great, and went smooth. The two older servers, the black woman, and the short white, dark haired lady, are always woking hard, and very nice. What happened? Is it under new management?

Wonderful Hotel, Staff & Wedding Planner!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/07
I can’t express how much I enjoyed the Holiday Inn Bordeaux! From the time I came in looking for a location to host my wedding Miss Vivian Baldwin was so helpful in showing me the event rooms and suggesting things that were catered to my wedding. I planned everything on paper and quite honestly was a little nervous on how everything was going to come together because I had heard both positive and negative comments about having an event there. Well to my surprise the food was awesome! The waitresses were so pleasant and attentive to my needs; they even cut my cake a $40.00 service that I didn’t contract, for FREE! The front desk staff was so pleasant in assuring that my Romance Package items was going to be delivered to my honeymoon suite shortly. I commend Holiday Inn Bordeaux for making my wedding day WONDERFUL!

The hotel I stay at
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/10/07
This hotel is average...it's a little pricey but overall it's one of the better hotels in the area. The staff was decent...I wouldn't go directly to accomadating but they were nice enough. This is where I stay when I'm in Fayetteville...simply because well it really is one of the better hotels in the area

Horrible!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/05
I had my wedding there in July 2004.I picked this particular location because after so much searching it seemed like the nicest and most elegant one to have my wedding reception at.The ladies that helped me book the reception were all very nice and assisted in everything possible. However on the day of the wedding I encountered so many problems. The tables for the wedding party were not set up as agreed. I had an open bar of $500 and not even 1 hour after arriving they said that we were about to reach our limit. I only had about 60 guests including the wedding party. We dished out $200.00 on the spot to increase the limit. The food was teribble. It was cold and it honestly did not taste good at all. It was a horrible experience!!! I must say that I spoke to the manager on duty that evening and he was very apologetic however that did not fix the fact that one of the most important days of my life was ruined by the Holiday Inn Bordeaux. I honestly thought of sueing them but I opted not to. I did receive a refund of about $850.00 for my troubles.
