Super 8 Ithaca, Ithaca

Clean- we stayed here for a good price- quiet and a good clientelle. Would stay there again!!

Personable staff, proud of what they do, and solicitous of our needs (asked for and got an iron and small board). Clean smoke-free room. Quiet enough - slept fine. Basic breakfast was appreciated. If you're spending all your money on your child's education, it's an inexpensive and reasonable choice. I'll stay there again.

Comes with everything you expect for ~$80 per night in Ithaca - clean rooms, cheap but working TV, basic but still eatable breakfast, friendly staff, and free parking. Location is good - you can do plenty of shopping for your kid in Cornell; places to shop and university are all very close.

This was by far the best experience I've had in Ithaca. The staff was friendly and helpful. To be honest I've stayed in other Super 8s (why are they located in seedy sections?) and this was by far and away the nicest one I have ever seen. There was a huge 24 hour grocery right across the parking lot. And it's right in the city without being, in the city. The first night I got to town I checked into the Hampton Inn, at $140 a night! The rooms were ok, the staff was quite standoffish, but the noise was unbearable!!It is RIGHT on a major highway. All the rooms on one entire side of the hotel face the street. And there is nothing between the hotel and the street but a little strip of grass. I lucked out getting a room at another hotel at all, much less one still in the city (even closer!) And the rate was $89!!!! You can't go wrong in Ithaca for that price, that includes breakfast and a computer with internet access that is just for guests!!! I plan to stay there whenever I come thru. Ithaca is just beautiful anyway. The hard part is staying on budget! I recommend it to everyone looking for value and especially if you are travelinging with a family.

It was convenient and reasonable in price. Clean and close and restaurants and other area attractions. The service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice touch.

1st is is very clean. The staff is very personable and helpful. It is in a good location(Near Ithaca College where my son goes and close to many restaurants, Wegmans, Rite Aid and not far from downtown. My 7 yr.old loves it because he can go to the continental breakfast for us and he loves walking to the mall when we have time. He also likes the work out room and I love to listen to the church singing in back of the hotel. Good rates also.

We loved this place! They're doing some remodleing, but with the exception of the slight smell of new carpet and some stuff out of place, we certainly couldn't tell. the beds were VERY comfy and the rooms were REALLY clean! The staff was extremely helpful in helping us get around...even copied a map for us to use in our travels that day. The best part is that it's right next to a Wegmans, so you can have dinner in their big cafe with all those food choices and enjoy yourself. Also near a bunch of other stores like a Borders (for those of you who need your morning coffee fix) and a lot of other places. We're heading back there in the summer...can't say enough!
