One Night in New Rochelle at the Radisson
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/8/07
Good location but Radisson needs much better external signage. Staff needs better communication skills - need to know how to really welcome someone and make them feel valued, "at home."
Room accommodations were good, although room itself was small. Excellent sleep comfort beds which you can adjust for your own firmness. Shower was great, tremendous pressure. Fairly quiet inside; not too much noise from the outside, even being next to I-95.
Breakfast service in the restaurant was horrible - staff was lackadaisical insensitive, slow, had poor communication skills. Had to ask for menus and napkins. Restaurant furnishings were blah. Table was unbalanced and leg had to be proped/wedged.
Food was OK, although I ordered a grapefruit and it came sliced the wrong way so you could not get out the sections. My wife ordered her eggs over easy - got them sunnyside up.
