Terrible place

Any positive review you read about this hotel is clearly written by a Days Inn staff member. This hotel is in a terrible neighborhood with drug dealers and prostitues on every corner. The elevator had broken buttons and did not appear to have any safety feature to keep the doors from shutting hard on people as they entered. All of the carpets in the hallways and room had large stains on them every few feet. When we arrived in room, the tub was stained, the shower curtain rod pulling out of the wall and the bed was wet with something. The parking lot had non stop honking car horns in it which was disruptive. After staying less than two minutes we left. As we tried to leave, the guy at the desk REFUSED to refund our money, then went on to say he was charging us an extra $1 because there was a safe in the room. At this time Days Inn corporate is involved trying to get my refund. Stay anywhere but here.
