I have stayed here 3 times courtesy of Hotwire. Only way i can get a good price.The rooms are large in my opinion and clean. Lobby is classy. Restaurant prices are very expensive, but in NYC part of the fun is exploring and you can dine for very reasonableif you are willing to explore. I am a male to female cross dresser and have come and gone from the hotel in a skirts and heels and have checked in that way and the staff does not bat an eye. If you are coming from Grand Central, you can take the northwest passage to 48th and it is a 2 minute walk. There is the Longwood Deli accross the street for coffee, sandwich, snacks or breakfast.This my prefered hotel, but with Hotwire, one does not know until they book and the the hotels own price can be a little steep.
