Food is a joke don't expect to eat with kids
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/09
If you have kids.....don't arrive after 9 and expect to find a place to eat. They only have the bar (which serves food) open and they do not allow anyone under the age of 21 in there after 9 even if they are sitting in there with there mom! Very unhappy!

comfortable beds
By harriedMom, 07/02/08
My teenage daughter and I were visiting colleges in Rochester. Perfect location right near I-390. Very nice and clean room. Pillow menu with 4 different choices of pillow! The bed was so comfortable too! There's no free breakfast, but you can buy breakfast in the restaurant for $7 a plate, or get room service. Warning: the drapes do not close. They're not broken, they're all designed that way! You cannot darken the room. Even in gray Rochester, the morning light wakes you at 6 a.m. which is okay if you have an early morning appt. We got to University of Rochester in 5-10 minutes. Perfect location for our needs.

Top Notch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/07
Every time I travel to Rochester I always stay here, there could be no other choice. The staff here is THE BEST, 5 star quality and friendliness. The breakfast buffet is yummy. Rooms are awesome ( tip: ask for the 300 wing ). End your day with a stop in the jacuzzi. Pretty much centrally located, you CAN get there from here.

Rooms were clean and good.
By vincent, 06/13/07
The rooms were clean & in good shape. You can actually open the window a little- we were on the second floor- a blessing if the room heat/ac works overtime. It didn't but it can- this was June so neither were required. The Lobby setup is a little strange- staircase is in a strange place, but they were remodeling so it could change. Great location- you can see, but not hear the airport.

Always an A+
By Jeff, 04/29/07
I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Rochester Airport several times and they are always top-notch. This is a busy place and I'm always impressed that the room is ready, the staff is considerate and everything is done with excellence. Of course, the convenience to the airport is the primary selling point, but the Genessee River trail system is adjacent to the back parking lot for your early morning constitutional (mine was all the way down to the Erie Canal and back!) Thanks, everyone!

Disappointing to say the least
By R, 12/25/06
Stayed here on my way to and from a vacation I was taking and both times the locks on my door were broken. Both times, the room given to me was not very clean. I also found that Housekeeping totally ignores the "do not disturb" sign. O'Malley's Pub is above average for a bar hotel however and it's location to the airport is hard to beat. At $134 dollars a night, I expected a bit more than I got and I will not be returning in the future.

Your Standard Holiday Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/05
I stayed at this property for a week in August 2005 on business. Pros: Great Staff My room was clean Ample Parking Easy airport access Good high speed wireless connection Self serve laundry room - very clean Cons: The "business center" leaves a lot to be desired - However the front desk was very helpful and made copies/sent faxes at no charge. The pool is open to non-hotel guests and, therefore, always crowded. Smoking rooms are in a separate building (this could be a "pro" for some people) which is a long walk from the lobby/restaurant area.
