Ramada Inn Yonkers, Yonkers

My recent stay at this hotel (6/11-12)was very disappointing. I had come to expect cleanliness and professional service from Holiday Inn, regardless of location. The only positive things I can say are that the mattress was good - I slept well, and the rate was very reasonable. I just don't think "very reasonable" rates have to mean 1. a dirty dining room with seats that hadn't been cleaned in quite a while, 2. dirty flatware with visible pieces of hair and 3. a charge of $2.50 because I wanted to finished a sandwich that I brought with me while keeping a friend company. She paid for an ice tea, so I didn't have a bill. But I was charged to sit there with her in an otherwise empty room. 4. The waitress was rude, the words "excuse me" are not a part of her vocabulary. Back to our bathroom conditions, one of the face towels was dirty and wet and the floor was not clean.

I've never been so compelled to let you know how I felt about that 24-hour period of time. I'll certainly not be able to recommend Holiday Inn Yonkers to anyone. I'm not asking for anything other than you take these comments seriously. There are so few things that stand up to the integrity of their reputation, and I sincerely hope that what I experienced in Yonkers is the exception.
