Canyon Creek Lodge, Ruidoso

While the location was great and the scenery beautiful the two bedroom rental I stayed in needed some good cleaning. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off the wall, huge stains on the carpets, and the place needed a paint job. I would not stay again. For the price I paid I expected it to be a whole lot cleaner!

There is not one negative thing I can say about this place!The owners were very,very nice and courteous people.The location of this hotel is what makes it the place to stay.It's set into the woods so it's peaceful at night(all you can hear is the wind blowing through the trees).It's very close to the casino and not too far from the shops in town.A creek flows right next to the rooms which adds a nice touch.I would tell anyone thats going to ruidoso for the first time to make this place your stay.

we loved the place. people friendly, great location, enjoyed the forest, we stayed in a cottage and it was very clean,cute and comfortable. we would recommend it and we are going back in sept. never knew this place existed.it is only 10 min. from town yet hidden so you feel like if your deep in the forest!!!!

Like the place and view, and fresh smell on mornnings nice & cool and closer to shoping stores, not toofar from casinos & horse races

We loved this place. My wife and I never felt at home as much as we did at Canyon Creek. The forest surrounds you and we saw deer and even wild turkeys right out our window. The condos are great value and the guest house is perfect. We have stayed in both . The staff makes you feel like you never left home. It is very clean and comfortable. We have stayed 2 times and will be going back for many years to come.

My wife and I have stayed there often and love it. Being on the edge of the National Forest and seeing all the beautiful wildlife was fantastic. My wife really loves the creek that flows through the property. And the Casino on the reservation was just a mile away. The rooms had a lot to offer for the price. We have recommended this place to everyone we know.

We have stay here several times and just love it. Most recently we stayed in a one bedroom suite in the Guest House. What a treat. We were on the top floor overlooking the forest with birds, squirrels and even a group of deer for our entertainment. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. Clueing us in on some of the locals favorite places to eat. They even called to check one of the restaurants hours for us. We can't wait to return!

What a find. Right down the street from the Inn of Mountain Gods for a fraction of the price. We liked watching the ducks and various birds along with an occasional deer. We had a kitchen, fireplace and separate bedroom with these cute bunks built into the hall for your luggage or your kids. You don't know how beautiful this place is until you drive in - we were surprised. We will return.

This place is right down the road from main town Ruidoso and from the casino. It is like staying in the woods with all the wildlife. Our place was clean and reasonable. We would recommend it.

Loved the place and the location. Amazing value. Cost less than a small hotel room yet twice the size with each unit having it's own fireplace, stove, and fridge.
