Needs Tips On Customer Service

Checked out and was billed one amount. Got home and two weeks later see 2 more charges on my credit card totaling over $2000! Explanation was that I was not charged the correct amount to start with. Finally getting credited back for difference of what the original charge should have been and what was billed.
I am in customer service and if I bill a person for one amount (even if I made a mistake and it is less than what it should be - we are not talking a few dollars, we are talking about several hundred dollars that was pointed out to begin with and was told I was wrong) and then go back and charge their credit card again, I would never get their business again and have to give them money back.
GM was very nice about the situation but other people acted like I should feel fortunate that they were willing to fix their mistake.
As for the actual stay, rooms were fine to stay in, but plenty of room for improvement on cleanliness. The bar area brings in some interesting characters that get loud in the hallways. Overpriced even for a goup rate. It is in a location that is easy to get to places from. The actual service while staying was actually decent, but the end result turned it into a terrbile experience.
