Very nice people there. I would stay again.

It's close to the boardwalk and beach. If you're in a wheelchair there is a ramp going up to the boardwalk (1/2 block away ) and an elevator in the lobby.

A trip 2 the future
By Mark, 01/29/09
I stayed here in the sixties, it was called the Trinidad. It was the greatest place I ever stayed in my life. It was bought later by the Gandhi's who went onto sell it to the Super-8 chain early this century. Nothing ever can stay the same, but there is a gigantic story behind this building itself if I am permitted 2 write this. My last stay here in 2000 was while Tahren and Rika Gandhi owned the place and it was still named Trinidad. One must remember that the world changes, so do people, so do hotels. My 8 stays of great pleasure were the June's and August's of 65, 66, 67, and 68. Those days are all gone now. But a huge story about all of this exists on my 5 blogs at blogger dot com, or Google me up, as Mountainpen. The story is straight from the Twilight Zone. Stay at your own risk is my advice 4 this great future that I now find myself in. Indeed, Atlantic City is an awesome place, and a very strange and outlandish one as well, happy bedding everyone.I had 2 list my stay as 2004, my last stay was as I said.

surprisingly excellent place....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/08
Recommended for the value. My girlfriend and I stayed there over the weekend and the price was a little stiff, but it was worth the stay. It was better than other hotels I went to. The price was at least better than others in the city. I would definitely return in summer as I noticed that they have a jumbo sized pool. Until then.........

Don't step foot inside this place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/08
This is absolutely the worst place we've stayed in 30 years! First the staff was strangely unfriendly. There was a sign in the lobby to pardon our appearance-re modeling, only it looked ongoing forever! The hallways were literally freezing. Then the room was bad,old carpet, falling wallpaper & paint,smell,2 foot square shower, dribbling water supply etc. Then 5am in the room next to ours some lady beats on the door screaming profanities AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS that she doesn't care if he kills her to let her in!This went on for two hours while we wanted to sleep! This room was right above the office,THEY DID NOTHING!We feared to complain,DON'T EVER STEP FOOT INSIDE THIS PLACE! It is not worth the money at any cost!

Better than I expected
By rockstarPI, 01/13/08
My bf and I stayed at the Super 8 in January for the beginning of the year. The front desk attendant checked my bags early and gave us a box of candy just for coming! The room was a nice size, very comfy bed. The shower had a really cool shower curtain and was very clean. Minifridge, iron, coffee pot, tv and a rack for hanging things. I was pretty happy and would definitely go back. Definitely worth the low price!

Better then expected.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/07
My girlfriend and I like the fact that the place is just a few steps away from the beach. Also, the casinos are so near that we kept going to the Taj again and again. The room we had was facing the Resorts casino and it was nice and quite. The staff was very helpful about everything. The room also had a coffee maker (the best thing for coffaholic like me). The motel also has WiFi, which was really great for us. We were able to book our room for the next stops. I wish they had heated pool(Just Kidding). They do have a huge pool though but it is closed in winter. But it is quite understandable. It is a summer pool. The pool and the accomodations are one of the reason I have decided to return in summer with my GF. Lets see how much money we can gather up to donate some in the casinos on our next trip. Until Then......

Can't complain too much.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/06
The morning clerk was very unpleasant. He could not muster so much as a hello or good morning in response to mine. The rest of the clerks were very nice. The deluxe continental breakfast was a joke. A few assorted danishes and dry muffins, along with apples every day. If I was lucky, I'd get there and find a croissant. They also provided apple and orange juice, but that was the extent of it. I was at least expecting some bagels. If you want coffee, you have to pay 50 cents for two thirds of a cup. There is a coffee maker in the room that makes a pretty lousy cup for free, and I had to take it in the bathroom just to find a free outlet. As far as the room goes, it was better than I expected. It had a pleasant smell and atmosphere, and the bathroom was especially clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, one of the best weeks of sleep I've had. It was also nice to have a refrigerator in the room, and cable TV with HBO. The pool was not open yet, and it would have been nice to know that since it was one of our deciding factors in choosing this hotel. The elevator broke the second day of our stay, but they had it repaired by the time we returned. The proximity to the beach was good, about a block, although the neighborhood was a little rough in that area. Overall, it was a reasonable stay, with one of the lowest prices we found.

A no frills, but decent room
By Joel, 05/09/06
Don't expect The Ritz accomodations. For what it is, it's fine. Front desk staff was all business and unfriendly. It's close to the Boardwalk and Resorts Casino. Another 'perk' you may want to know is the thins walls. This may make for an interesting morning if you're next to two horny lovebirds (as I was!)

Not worth $70 @ anytime of the year!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/05
Most AC hotels/motels raise their rates on Sat and Sunday, but this place should never ever ever ever try it. This place is not worth $70 on any night or season less alone $159 per in the summer. It's carpets are dirty, the furniture old and destroyed. It across from a vacant lot in an dim lit area where winos/crack addicts and derelics are laying, sitting and hanging around. There was no microwave or frig as amenities (they ran out) I guess they ran out of towels too, because only 1 and 1 face rag in my room. And to top it off a couple whom we met had room was ROBBED while @ the casino. This is a hotel for John's to take a lady of evening (and not the $100 kind) DON't even bother trying to save $$$, you may lose more.

Adequate
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/17/05
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. Phone system needs to be updated - difficulty using it for internet purposes. Parking was difficult. Location was good (close to Convention Center, casinos and restaurants).
