The Hotel ML, Mt Laurel

Ok, I was very hesitant to stay at this hotel due to the bad reviews, but since a co-worker stated how great it was, I booked it. My husband, 3 year old boy & myself checked in this past Saturday afternoon. The outside of the hotel worried me some but I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the lobby. Very modern & clean. They have a snack room where you can buy milk, soft drinks, snaks & toiletries. The front desk staff was very welcoming & professional. After the quick & easy check-in, we proceeded to our room. The room was actually real nice. 2 double beds, many plush pillows, the bathroom was very clean & modern with many towels. So far, so good. We changed into our swimming gear & headed to their Cocokey Water park (which is attached to the hotel). No problem at all getting in. Wasn't to big or small. It was perfect for our 3 year old to be entertained. The water temperature was lukewarm (MORE ON THE COLDER SIDE). Of course my son didn't mind but I did, I was hoping for warmer to hot water. Nevertheless, your body gets used to the temperature & you man up & smile for your kids. They do offer towels for hotel guests, kind of small, but it did it's job of warming up my little boy. Let's talk a little about the type of guests that were there. It was very diverse. Very middle class Jersey/Philly type of families. A little rough, but hey, what do you expect, high tea royalty? if you're that stuck up & can't handle hanging with The Bundy's & The Evans Family, then go elsewhere, remember it's JERSEY PEOPLE, tattoos, pot belly's, weaves, etc. After playing in the pool for awhile, we headed to the Pizza Hut/A&W stand. The wait was a little long but they cook to order so the wait is bearable. The pepporoni pizza was nasty. The chicken tenders were real good, as were the fries. The double burger was DELICOUS, yes DELICIOUS. After a long day, we went back to our room for some relaxing & sleep. HA! THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT? THE NOISE! Holy cow, it was after 10pm and the loud guest were all out, sounded like they were in the hallways, screaming babies, people yelling with no regard to other guests in their rooms. I'M TELLING YOU, it was loud!!!!!! We had trouble sleeping. Can't tell you what time it stopped. Check out was easy and we headed to Philly for the day (about 25 min). So, would we go back, MAYBE, it's alright for $300 for 4 people. Would I recommend it to my friends? Yeah, they can handle it, and I will copy and paste this on other sites. BOTTOM LINE- My 3 year old son had a great time! So that's enough for me to go back, if he asked.
