Disgusting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/10
I stayed at this hotel the weekend of Novembre 19th 2010. First of all the pictures of the rooms on the website are a false advertisement. It looks more like a motel room. I think they have only four rooms that are renovated. At my arrival after a 7 hour drive i get to my room to find hairs in my bed. Not something you want to see after that drive... Disgusting... The next night as i wanted to go to sleep around 11pm. The bar that was upstairs was playing music extremely loud that you can hear four floors down. I went to the front desk and asked them if it was possible to get the music put down, and the clerk answer was " What do you want me to do about it" (Anderson - Front desk clerk) the music played until 2am. I don't think i should of payed 140$ for a room that i could not sleep in because of the noise. The worst hotel ever. Not recommended to anybody, your better off staying in a cheap motel and it wouldn't suprise me if rooms had bed bugs. Please take my advise and pay an extra 10$ to stay somewhere clean with clerks that know what respect is. DEGUSTING!!!! Oh and if your bring your dog your room is 10 times more disgusting as if the rrom was never cleaned.

Worst Experience Ever
By Jason, 6/30/10
This was the worst hotel stay we had on our vacation to the east coast. Our first hotel room had a mouse in it (yes a mouse), so we moved to a different room only to find the toilet full of toilet paper and other disgust. It took them 20 minutes to finally come and clean that up,and when they arrived they found the situation to be very funny When we returned from sightseeing and were going to get cleaned up we had no towels. When calling to speak to the manager I was told She would look up my info and call me back within an hour, I ended up calling her back 6 hours later. We did receive some money in return that eventually got here after 4 weeks. I would not recomend to anyone to stay here.

Hotel is good but not the travel(shuttle) service
By Binu, 8/17/09
The stay in this hotel was very pleasant and the staff was also very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with the travel service who was rude in talking. They cancelled a shuttle too since there were not enough people and asked to pay extra for making the trip (note that that payment was already done). When refused to pay extra they cancelled and gave only 50% money back. We also had a racist experience from one of the drivers where we were not allowed to get into the shuttle until other guests entered. The best way to travel is to get a cab. You can talk to the receptionist and they will be glad to get you in touch with a cab. This way you can decide when you want to travel instead of waiting for the shuttle and also it turned out to be cheaper if you are a group.

Easy to get into NYC
By Laura, 6/28/08
The staff was friendly and helpful. It's close to NYC. It was nice having someone drive you into town and pick you up. The earliest they go into town is 8:00am. and the latest you can be picked up is 10:00pm- this could be inconvenient for some people. The rooms were older and a little on the small side. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I don't think it's in the best part of town. You don't pay for parking your vehicle. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel at good price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/07
The hotel is nice and clean. The staffs were nice and helpful. I book there at least twice a year. Highly re commanded. Without traffic, it's about 15 minutes from Chinatown.

Happy with Days Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/9/07
Liked - clean, comfortable, good location Hint - They tell you they have a shuttle, but charge at least $5 / person, and they only run hourly. If you walk up to the Super 8 (maybe 2 blocks, ask them how to get there, they have a map) a white van stops there and takes you to Times Square for $2. (look for a white van that says "New York" on the front). They run every 5 minutes (6AM - 10:30 PM) and to get back, you go to gate 51 at the Port Authority ,and there's always a van sitting there waiting for you. It's cheaper, more convenient and comfortable. You can also take the city bus (the front desk gives you directions) but you have to walk all the way up to Toys R US (twice as far as the Super 8) and the bus only runs every 20 minutes or so. We liked the Days Inn, but the transportation was so much better from the Super 8, though the room was not as nice.

Good Manhattan alternative.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/1/06
Easy parking, clean, fairly close to the city. We left a coat in the room and called 3 days later. They nicely packaged it up to return to us.

very bad.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/05
On Sunday November 13th I called up for information. I wanted to know if you have facilities to accomodate a family coming from Washington D.C. with four children. I asked the recepcionist if they had a big suit to accomodate this family. She sounded as she was lazy to speak, I had to pull out the information, and still didn't get it. She did not volunteer to offer any information, so I gave up. I called Confort inn in Edgewater and the recepcionist was very pleasant and willing to help. She gave me different options, and I made the reservations.

Great clean place to stay
By Robert, 5/20/05
I found the hotel very clean. The rooms are clean and bright. Great access to New Jersey or New York. Resturant on the 12th floor very loud if there is a private party. Loved the small breakfast area and the help were the best.
