Westward Ho Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

I didn't care for the Ho. It was OLD. Yes, the room was clean, but that was about it. Alot of undesirables walking around and it was not in a nice part of town. I didn't feel safe. If you plan ahead, you can stay in a classy hotel on the strip for the same price as the Ho. I paid $49 but a couple in line in front of me who had no reservations were quoted $150 a night. Unbelivable. I was happy to leave the Ho and get to my nice room at Ballys!! Stay away from the Ho.

we love the location and like being able to just get out of our car and go into our room.The whole big world of high rise is just getting so out of hand.I hope the Westward Ho stay forever.I know we will keep coming 2 or 3 times a year. Thanks Gail

the service was awesome i would definitly come back i loved the elvis impersonater he made our whole trip.he is the best entertainer in las vegas. thank you west ward ho!!!

We read about the Westward Ho on the web, we found the place to be very clean, affordable, with refreshing hot tubs, great location on the Strip. The rooms were very clean on daily basis, the Buffett was awesome, the best that we had found compared to other Casinos who have their own version of Buffet spread. We will miss the place. We found out that it was sold and in three weeks will be torn down for good. A condo will be in its place. The people working there were awesome, they were very attentive to your needs; very helpful in everyway. Peopel of the Westward Ho...your wonderful and we shall miss all of you there!

I have gone to the Westward Ho 4 times in the last 5 years. The people there have been so wonderful and fun. It really is a wonderful place. The rooms are very clean. Anything you need they provide and very quickly, best service I have ever seen. There is always something going on there. I love the dinner and show, it is always fun and the food outstanding. I will always stay at the Westward Ho, I can't imagine staying any where else.

Less expensive. Great location. Rooms are small, but clean. Megadog is worth a try. Nice drink specials and lounge. Dealers are not friendly. A stone throw to Stardust and Riviera.

Overall value was way ahead of just about every other strip hotel. The most unpretentious place on the strip. Basic but clean accomodations. Staff extremely polite, responsive, quick and very understanding. A great low-roller place and the only hotel/casino I've ever stayed at where I actually remained there for the entire length of my trip without visiting another hotel. I'm middle aged and I remember seeing this place advertised in magazines when I was in high school. My late wife and I made some great memories at this place. It's just awful that it is being torn down in order to make for condos for a bunch of obnoxious yuppies.

dirty, shower water pressure was not good (it will get hot then cold). Had to walk about 1/2 a mile to get to the room. For a non smoking room, people still smoked. THe only reason we stood in this place, because we could not find a less expensive airfare unless we got the airfare and hotel package. We will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

i loved the pool.....but the bathroom mmm,dark,dingy,old and not very clean! the tv was cute an rca i believe.carpet oops,very old and dirty.my best friend bob and i really dont think we could go back! but who knows??/
