its a dirty dump.

we were their for 2 nites...the bed were just to soft and the room had dirty walls For the value its ok..but i will not stay there again...

Great place to stay

Great place with huge bed, two door access one for easy unloading & loading the car and one for quick access to the lobby or bar & grill. equipt with fridge & microwave. Hot tub open durring the winter until 10pm. I would recommend to everyone.

Nice central location

We were pleasantly surpirsed with our stay at this motel. The location is centrally located; grounds were well kept; room was acceptable - a good value overall. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Nice place for a good deal

The staff is friendly and got a deal for $35/day. The spa is very good and room is decent and spacious. The internet is little slow. They do provide small breakfast and easy access with lots of parking. Right on Lake tahoe blvd, and easy access to heavenly California base.

Rude Staff. Don't Stay there

I was trying to book by phone at South Lake Tahoe Super 8. The guy who recieved the call was extremeley rude and looked like he wanted to get rid of the call before it begins, I just asked him about some variation in reservation rate, and he didn't have even the patiance to hear questions. He hang up even before I finisihed. I called back try to find a manager to complaint to, the same guy recieved the call and insulted me over the phone. I didn't want to take it further up to the police or to BBB, but I will certainly never stay at any Super 8 in the future.

Horrible

Okay...They take pets but do they ever change the bed sheets? I had numerous bumps all over my skin after staying there for five nights. We left early because our stay there was definitely not satisfactory. The only good thing was the location.

Disappointed.......

We stayed here because they did take pets. This is the one good thing I can say about the place. The staff was also friendly and helpful. However, the motel was very dingy and rooms were small and dirty feeling. They could really invest in some upgrades in the place. Also they say continental breakfast, however all they have are some small muffins and drinks. They could put some toast out and cold cereals at least to make it a breakfast. The location is great so I hope they invest in the place in the future to make it a little more comfortable.

The room we had was very dingy, there was an old musty odor.There was a contact lense stuck on the bath room wall, used dental floss on the bathroom floor. My 2 yr old walked on the carpet in bare feet and the bottom of his feet got dirty.When I complained to the front desk,they gave us another room which had over a dozen mosquitos in it.When we complained to the front desk about this room the man seemed to be unphased, as if he were ignoring us. Would i stay there again? Absoultly not!

Decent, Clean, Affordable

Very friendly, and good central location. Really quite. The parking is a little tight, but the hotel is a decent place with a good sized room. Affordable pricing, and accepts pets.

the worst hotel I have stayed in my life

dirty carpet, no shampoo provided, very old typed gas heater. very cheap breakfast!! paid $94.00 a night!!!!!!!!! I'll never ever stay at this motel again!
