AWESOME VACATION
By THEGFAMILY, 08/06/08
We had the best family vacation ever!! The one bedroom suite we had was perfect for our family of four. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We were there from Monday thru Friday mid summer, Perfect time to go, Nice and quiet, Beautiful weather!! We went on sometype of outing and spent several hours at the pool everyday. We wished we could have stayed longer. We can't wait to go back again.

Squaw Valley Lodge, Olympic Valley, CA
This place was absolutely perfect. We literally had the closest room to the gondola. We threw our stuff (not literally) off the balcony and walked about 20 feet to the gondola. Plus the room was clean and nice. We had everything we could have needed there as far as a fireplace and dryer appliances etc. We had no complaints. It was perfect!

very very nice
By Julie, 11/07/06
There is always an advantage to a condo. If I wanted to sleep my husband could go in another room and watch TV. We also had a small deck which was such a place nice to sit and drink hot toddies. You can't get closer to the ski lift, just walk outside and across the cobblestone path. Also, this place is in the middle of the small resort area, so we never had to worry about reservations or where to go. Everybody was very friendly and the "hotel" has every convenience. My only negative is a very small hot tub.

Rude and Unfriendly Front Desk
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/22/06
I stayed in a Loft suite with my 3 sons. The suite was very large, clean and well maintained. However the Front desk employees were rude and wanted to charge us extra based on a report from a maid of a dog sighting in our room. I informed them that the maid report is incorrect, since I have never owned a dog in my life. I did have two well mannered teenage boys with me, but no dog. I also offered them to check my SUV. The front office investigated and rescinded the dog charges, since they did not find any evidence of a dog in the room. However they still insisted that the maid report was correct. I found this very offensive. My son told me later that he saw a lady with a poodle in the elevator. Clearly the maid misidenitfied the room, but the front office was too arrogant to acknoweldege maid's mistake. The front office behavior ruined what was otherwise a good experience. I will not return.

wonderfully convenient!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/12/05
We liked everything about this place. It was convenient to restaurants - within walking distance. Upscale casual dining and beautiful views of the mountains. Would love to go back when it snows. There is shopping and Starbucks Coffee shop nearby. There was entertainment in the shopping area on the weekend - great for kids and adults.

Great Hotel
By Richard, 04/29/04
Cannot beat the quality of the rooms and the location of the resort. The location next to the slopes is the closest you will find at Squaw Valley. The village is extremely close, but you do not have the crowds associated with village walking by your unit all day and night.
