Harrah's Las Vegas, Las Vegas

As we walked in the lobby to check in, my wife fell on the granite floor. Not a terrible spill but painful none the less. As soon as she hit the ground, a young woman approached us explaining that 15 minutes earlier, she had informed the staff about the spilled drink on the floor and that she was shocked that not even a sign was put out. Within one minute of the fall, two security officers were upon us, taking pictures, asking about her drinking consumption and taking a good look at her shoes, flip flops, i think, oh and don't forget the instant arrival of a custodian to clean the mess. This was our first vacation ever without our children, and we never even got to walk the strip except next door to have a Subway sandwich. They took her drivers license and our room number, all i expected was a call to our room, for my wife, to ask if she was all right. Please don't let me dissuade anyone from coming here. This was a fantastic hotel and casino, i just wished we would have had more time so my wife could have felt better and seen some of beautiful Las Vegas.

This was the third time at Harrah's and it did not dissapoint. Free parking and a perfect location make Harrah's the value that it is. This will always be the place I stay.

Location is fantastic....you are close to everything! The rooms are descent. I have had 4 nights comped for the last 5 years....so I will not complain when its free. The hotel is older.....BUT its always been clean and comfortable. The food is descent. Looking at all the complaints here...I think people want something for nothing. The staff is always friendly.. Overall, a great place to stay!

Good location in the middle of strip. Staff were friendly and allowed us to check in early. Will only stay at this hotel if the price is right. Rooms are average, nothing special. Walls are pretty thin; could hear our neighbor throwing up in his bathroom at 6:30 am. Was surprised to see the in-room television was not a flat screen. Room was clean minus a stain on one of the chairs. Bed was not comfortable.

We had a great time at Harrahs!! Love the location, clean room, loose slots, Legends show. Hate pool!!! I don't know why they don't put another in where they have all the concrete!! Not crazy about any of the restaurants. $40. for 2 ok burgers and fries at the new burger place. Mings, cafe, and Toby's are all just ok. Will stay again for the gambling, location and comped room.

Our travel agent picked Harrah's for us because of its location. then I read some reviews and some where disappointing but our experience was great!!!!! Check-in went great although the line was a little long. Room perfect and the location. All staff very helpful except the valet people, they where bossy and rude if you didn't get a cab. All and all great trip!

I took my first trip to Vegas in Feb. 2011. After much online research I chose Harrahs as the place to book a room. I was NOT disappointed. I read reviews for many of the hotels and casinos and both had a mix of good and bad so I decided not to let negativity be a factor. I chose Harrahs for both price and location. I booked online and got a great deal. Check-in was a breeze and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. A friend and I split the cost so a four night stay in a luxury room only cost me $140.00 which I did not feel was a bad price. The room had an awesome view of the strip and the beautiful mountains in the background .We could even watch the volcano eruption at the Mirage ( which was right across the street ) from our window on the 14th floor. The room was of ample size and the beds were very comfortable. Had breakfast at the buffet a couple of times and was never disappointed. Great selection of foods to choose from and everything was very tasty. There is also a Denny's located about half a city block away. Right next door above a smaller casino is an Outback Steakhouse which was very nice. Alot of the casinos are within walking distance and for those that aren't you can get a 24 hr. bus pass for only $7.00 that will take you from one end of the strip to the other and back again as often as you please. Overall my experience at Harrahs was very positive and very enjoyable. I am already planning a return trip and Harrahs will be my first choice of places to stay.

Just spent 4 days here in a suite, worth every penny!! Had a great time and everyone we came in contact with at this Hotel was very friendly. I,have stayed all over the strip over the years, twice at Harrah's, its not worth it to stay at the big resorts. Harrah's gives you big resort service for half the price!

This was the first time my husband and I have been to Vegas and we were pleased with our choice. Harrah's was conveniently located, and our room was great. I would stay there again.

First time stay at Harrahs. Perfect location!! Liked the layout of the hotel. Use the free shuttle to Rio. Didn't do bad on the slots. Liked Ming's, dissapointed in Tobey Keith's. Horrible pool. Overall had a nice time. Can't wait to go back.
