Poor Service, Dirty Pool, Peeling Paint....etc...

Our Family had just spent 9 hours on the road and arrived in North Platte at 5:oopm (check in is at 3:00 pm)
We were told our room was not ready yet, and "Was there something we could go do for an hour?"!
It is 95 degrees outside, we are tired and hot, with our family in the carand we are suppose to go out and do something for an hour!
They did not offer another room to temporarily put us in.... they did not offer to comp any portion of the room charge....the counter staff was very unconcerned and one of them was just plain rude.
As it turns out, the room was not ready until 6:30pm at which time we had to go up to the counter and ask if our room was ready yet. My husband sat in the lobby for one hour waiting for the room, and they did not even come up to him to let him know.
He had to approach the counter.
The pool was discusting, dirty with peeling paint on the walls. The tiles were broken. Two of the three fitness machines were not working. The air conditioning in our suite was noisy, and did not cool the room off.
And the breakfast was discusting.
There was no service to the room for towels, shampoo etc....we had to go to the counter to get these items.
In all our travels, we have never experienced anything like it.
Don't go near the place!
