Wonderful for your bucks

The rooms were so clean and the owners were so very friendly about giving us directions and helping us around Hastings. I really was amazed at the cleanliness of the rooms for being an older motel. Yes, yes, we will be staying there again!

My worst experience ever in a motel.

My biggest problem was bugs in and on the bed. I killed approximately 30 bugs on the sheets and on the pillows. I spent the night trying to get a little sleep on a broken recliner chair. I'd have checked out but it was 11 PM and snowing big time. So , I stuck it out. I reported the incident to State and County Health Departments.

Country hospitality at it's best

This is one of the most affordable places in Hastings. A family run business by two very kind people, Bonnie & Ivan. Easy to find & close to anything you may want to do in Hastings or the surrounding area. It may not be four star, but the service we received was top of the line. Very accomodating. The only problem we had, which wasn't a 'deal-breaker', was the wi-fi kept going in & out. We'd stay here again.

X-L made negligent charges

The X-L Motel made negligent charges on our credit card, and falsely claimed that we were responsible for burn holes in the bed comforter. The comforter had old burn marks on it when it was pulled down prior to sleeping.
