We booked a block of rooms and stayed two nights.First of all most of us requested non smoking rooms and found butts behind the furniture.The linens were dirty.You have to go outside to get to the pool.In the pool area there is no ventilation.Everyone complained of burning eyes and trouble breathing.On the second night we couldnt get into our rooms,the key card wouldnt work.We had to go back to the office in very cold weather to see what was wrong.Also during the day when we were gone housekeeping had moved ALL of our personal items in the room.

Children sick from Indoor pool

The ventilation around the indoor pool is POOR. My son had severe breathing problems after swimming there. After commenting about it I had several other people tell about similar incidents at the hotel with their children. And that there have been complaints made to the owner and to the Corp office. Rooms seem clean, front desk is courteous and it's close to my house for out of town friends/family....but I just can't take the risk of my son's health again. He doesn't have this problem at any other indoor pools. Be aware and make sure all windows in the pool area are open and steer clear if there's an overwhelming chemical smell. Great Stays

We have stayed at this Best Western 4 times. Our school competes in Kearney for state tournaments. Service and friendliness has always been outstanding. Food at Sydneys Restaurant is also very good. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Kearney.

Excellent Value

I have stayed at this Best Western at least 4 times (our state championship High School events have taken place in Kearney). I have always had a decent, clean room and great service for an exceptionally good price. We liked it the first time and always stay there when in Kearney now. Sydney's Restaurant in the motel is also a great place to eat.
