My home away from home
By ,
I am currently working weekly in St. Louis and have been staying here for the past month with about 6 months to go! The hotel is clean and any issues I have had have been promptly handled. Its worth it to use valet parking, for those who have mentioned below self parking is a bit of a walk. Also worth it to stay on the concierge elvel. Breakfast and evening appetizers are free.

WOULD RECOMMEND BEAUTIFUL HOTEL
By ,
we stayed at the union station marriott from sept 3 to sept 6, 2011. union station, in which the hotel is located, is a huge beautiful building which is by the way designated as a historic national landmark. on the plus side is the beauty of the station itself and the marriott. our room was clean, spacious and very quiet. the staff was very courteous and helpful. the location, right in the heart of st louis, is excellent. you are only a mile of so away from the arch, jefferson expansion memorial, lumiere gambling casino, miss. river and paddleboat rides. on the negative side, you must walk quite a distance from your fourteen dollar a day parking area to your room thru a mall. the mall is full of junk shops and t shirt shops and you will not find much of value shopping there. also we did not think much of the food court and the restaurants (houlihans, landrys and hard rock cafe) located in or near the mall. also they charge around twelve dollars a day for the internet service, which i thought should have been free. they have a beautiful restaurant on the property but it is also rather pricey. also like other reviewers said, the outdoor pool is rather small and unheated. aside from those few negatives, i would still recommend the hotel, especially if you only plan on staying a few days.

Great Hotel and area for a conference
By ,
Our organization just held a week long seminar at the Marriott Union Station. The hotel staff and the conference area staff were fantastic and easy to work with. I was very pleased with the hotel room occomadations. Lots to do and plenty of places to eat within the area so not a lot of need to leave the hotel.

Nice place
By ,
I booked this hotel through Hotwire..thank you for them...We ended up paying a very nice price for a 3 night stay for this hotel. The hotels lobby was up some stairs and we were greeted very quickly. Checked in with no problems. Parking in the parking lot said 16.00 after 24 hrs and the hotel gives you a pass and you pay 14.00 dollars a day for parking which is in a secure lot, they had parking patrol out there at night. After we got to our room which was down a lot of hallways we finally got to our room which was very beautiful, our window faced the court yard area which had trees and flowers and was very nice to have the curtians open to look at. They had a flat screen tv, plenty of pillows, bath and body works shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They cleaned our room after the first night but didnt the next night, which we didnt have any clean towels on our last morning which was kind of a bummer. Our check out was very easy to do...and oh yeah watch the last elevator on the right, the doors will close on you when you are trying to enter the elevator, my husband had to come back and get me after the doors closed and the elevator went to the next floor....The only bad thing about the hotel is it isnt close to a lot of the attractions we walked all the way to the arch on Saturday which was nice but it was hot and we found the metro and let me tell you that was our transportation for the rest of our stay..

best hotel stay EVER
By ,
The staff was amazing from the minute we arrived ...All staff bent over backwards for us .....we stayed there 2 nights and ended up having a ill child stuck in our room 1 whole day and everyone was fantastic.....i have never visited a hotel where every single employee had a smile . The rooms very clean and the bed was the most comfortable every slept on in a hotel. Having the convience of the mall was another plus......you will not go wrong staying here.....we cannot say enough about it......

It was alright
By ,
It was nice to have the mall connected. It was nice conference rooms were all together. I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator, and that internet and breakfest were not included. It seems like everything extra was more money. Also alot of walking. Otherwise staff was very helpful and friendly
