Lakeview Motor Lodge, Trenton

We were charged for one night's stay and didn't even stay there. I was going to my 50th class reunion on Labor Day weekend. Called to check on my reservation and they said they didn't have one for me. Funny, since there were able to charge for one night when they didn't even have a reservation for me. After this foolishness I wouldn't stay or recommend the place. J. B.

the people there were so nice...made us feel welcome..we stayed for a few weeks so we got to know the employees. very friendly.

I was told my room was remodeled four months before my visit. Seriously? There was blood smears on the box spring of my bed, the "new" carpet turned teh bottom of my feet black and the bathroom was terrible! The door couldn't close, the toilet seat was cracked and the tile floor was filthy! The food at the restaurant attached to the hotel was really bad, but the coffee was good. The people were really nice and the lake next door is really pretty. I will not be back, but who knows...maybe someone else will get a nicer, cleaner room.

My kids and I recently stayed here. I found everyone to be very helpful and friendly. The atmoshere both in the room and the restaurant made us feel right at home. The kids especially enjoyed the indoor pool!

The rooms have not been updated for years and the questionable stains show it. The rooms are overpriced for extremely poor quality. Staff are not friendly and need customer service training. My one stay at the hotel was a nightmare. The motel was mostly empty since it was a Sunday night. They placed me in a room on the back row - alone. When I immediately went back to the office (before 10:00 p.m.), it was closed. I placed a chair against the door because I did not trust the locks. I did not get much sleep that night. At 7:00 a.m. a man pushed the door to my room open, moving the chair. When he saw me, he left. I immediately went to the office. They said they gave the man a key to the room. Apparently they didn't check their registry - if they have one. They didn't even apologize. This has been the worst motel experience I ever had.
