Regency Hotel Conference Center Jackson, Jackson

The lobby was nice, thats about it! The help at the check-in was nice but very unorganized. As we were walking down the hall to our room the smell was horrible. Not a family place. I would not recomend this hotel!

Well, from the pictures online I thought it would definately live up to its name! However, when we got there, we were totally deceived by the lobby area. The lobby was beautiful! Very, very nice indeed! When I entered my room I was totally disappointed. The bed was decorated great, loved the comforter design. The walls needed some fresh paint, and the little cracks here and there repaired. For the price, it seemed a little outdated. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. All in all, if the prices were lowered a bit (only because of the condition of the Hotel) I would stay again. Otherwise, I would probably look elsewhere.

I loved my experence at the regency Inn!! I will go back again. The room, staff, and expereince there was great.

Took eleven students to a conference there earlier this week. We had to be there by 8:30 a.m. for conference activities. We were told that check in was at 3:00 p.m., but they gave us one room to put all of our luggage in. When reservations were made 3 weeks earlier we asked for non-smoking. Of the 6 rooms our group had, every last room reeked of smoke. The hotel had overbooked and we almost didn't receive any rooms. They tried to send us next door to their "sister motel". We've stayed there before and had to call the cops because of other guests. Taking a group of teenagers, of course we wanted our rooms together so we could keep up with them. The rooms were on 3 separate halls. (At least we were on the same floor!) They are supposed to be under construction. The best thing they could do would be implode the place and put in a parking lot. My advice? Take a tent and stay in a parking lot somewhere. You'll be a lot happier. Yahoo wouldn't let me go any further without marking a star. That was many stars too many!

excellent location! this hotel has newly remodeled rooms.We were there for a convention in town and believe me this hotel as changed alot since we last visited jackson.

THE LIKE IS THE LOCATION, CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH BOTH FRONT DESK AND HOUSEKEEPING,A RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL AND A NICE VALUE WHEN YOU ARIVAL. THE DISLIKE IS THE HALL WAY NEED NEW CARPET/ REPAINTED THE WALLS AND THE PLUMING NEED TO BE REPAIR.

I am an educator with a master's degree and fifteen years of teaching experience. On Sept. 27-28, 2007 I attend the Mississippi Association for Gifted Children's Conference at the Regency Hotel and Conference Center is Jackson, Mississippi. You rate of this hotel gives it 3 STARS! What a joke! Participants in our conference experience, no air condition in mnay of the rooms, no hot water in many rooms or brown water, dirty beds and rooms. None of the problems we experienced were corrected. In fact, the front desk did not even answer my call in around 10:00 pm!! I let it ring for about 5 minutes and then called back and let it ring for about 3 minutes!! I wanted help because I air conditioning was not working. We thought we corrected it by pushing several different buttons but it would stop all during the night! We got almost no sleep and I had to present the next morning! When we complained to the hotel manager he was very RUDE and basically had an "I don't care" attitude. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THAT HOTEL AGAIN and I am sure the other teachers in attendance will not either. I would estimate that their were about 300 in attendance at the conference. Please investigate this hotel and rate it at the bottom of your rating scale. The manager, in fact is either one of the owners or related to the owner and he could care less about his customers. It should be -4 STARS!!!

I thought this place was awsome it was beautiful and it was perfect i would reccomend this hotel to any one! it was so peacefull and relaxing my kids had alot of fun at the really nice swiming pool!

no one addressed my complaints. Was there on a family reunion.I asked for no smoking, it smelled like someone just finish smoking.The iron kept leaking, I called 3 times before anyone finally came. The toilet was stopped up in several relative rooms, they brought a plunger so we can unstopp it. I called once I returned back home to call about the complaints, there was never a manager there. Till this day no one still has called and I left my information. They made sure they took the money out of my account. I will never stay there again.
