This hotel should be closed down!! They could care less about their customers!

I am an educator with a master's degree and fifteen years of teaching experience. On Sept. 27-28, 2007 I attend the Mississippi Association for Gifted Children's Conference at the Regency Hotel and Conference Center is Jackson, Mississippi. You rate of this hotel gives it 3 STARS! What a joke! Participants in our conference experience, no air condition in mnay of the rooms, no hot water in many rooms or brown water, dirty beds and rooms. None of the problems we experienced were corrected. In fact, the front desk did not even answer my call in around 10:00 pm!! I let it ring for about 5 minutes and then called back and let it ring for about 3 minutes!! I wanted help because I air conditioning was not working. We thought we corrected it by pushing several different buttons but it would stop all during the night! We got almost no sleep and I had to present the next morning! When we complained to the hotel manager he was very RUDE and basically had an "I don't care" attitude. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THAT HOTEL AGAIN and I am sure the other teachers in attendance will not either. I would estimate that their were about 300 in attendance at the conference. Please investigate this hotel and rate it at the bottom of your rating scale. The manager, in fact is either one of the owners or related to the owner and he could care less about his customers.
It should be -4 STARS!!!
