Fergus Inn, Fergus Falls

My hubby, baby and I like to get away sometimes and stay in a cheap hotel, so we ALWAYS stay here, and love it, despite what everyone else says we find this to be the cheapest, cleanest hotel in Fergus, and we like the owner :)

I actual reviewed this place before and said it was DECENT for the money, I need to rescind that review and say now that I stayed there one night recently due to a gas leak in my home and it was the WORST NIGHT OF MY LIFE IN A HOTEL! First I was going to get a snack at 10:30 PM due to being hypoglycemic and needing a snack before I go to bed and I had my 3 kids with me and I refused to leave them alone in ahotel room! not very unreasonable.....our room was the VERY last room at the end of the hall and so my kids and I were proceeding down the hall to the snack machine and there was ONE Other kid there getting food and the owner came out of what must have been the "owner's suite" and literally ORDERED us back into our rooms!! My hubby called because he was out of town for work and it was long distance for me to call him and he called to check on me and I told him to call and check on me in a few hours because I was not feeling well and had gone to get a snack but the owner would not allow me to and whn my hubby called back about 1/2 hhour later to tell me something the owner told MY HUBBY that he would be transferring NO MORE calls to my room!!! I am sorry...is this man my father? DO I have a PHONE CURFEW!! I would sure hope that the fact that he is of middle eastern desent has nothing to do with the fact that he runs his hotel like a dictatorship! I would NEVER stay in this hotel! I would sleep in my car or on the STREET before I would EVER stay here again!!!! Thank you yahoo for having this so people can here the TRUTH about these places!!!

The motel was very run down with no maintenance. It was dirty. I would never stay there again.
