Super 8 Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Center

Two nights we stayed there and each night after the local bars closed there were prostitutes in some rooms and in the hallways making all kinds of noise at 3:30 AM. When we complained the next morning to the front desk the fellow shrugged and said there are all kinds of people that stay there! While the room was clean and decent who wants to listen to some woman in the hallway talking VERY loudly about how much she charged for her skilled activities to her "John". We could not believe how brazen these people were or that the front desk did nothing about it!

I travel a lot, and I base my reviews on price compared to value. I also try to be accurate and this motel is very subpar (even for Super 8 "standards"). I usually don't feel unsafe on the road, but I did ask the clerk at check in if this was a safe place (of course, she said it was). Walking to my room the first night, I noticed the smell of Hannibus from one of the smoking rooms. The second night there was a police car patroling the motel's parking lot----seemed as if they were looking for something or somebody. The room was tiny---no cabinet for storage--hardly a place in the bathroom for a toiletries bag. The bed was also very old and soft---a burn hole in my first night's sheets. I wouldn't recommend anyone (who can afford a few $$ more a night) to stay here. There is an AmericInn across the street (that's where I'll stay the next time I'm in the north side of the Twin Cities).

There were fleas all over our bed sheets and pillowcases! The next week I had flea bites all over my arms and legs!
