Beds are comfortable!!!
We were in town for a conference, we stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. On the positive, the beds are very comfortable but small for being queen size. Loved the idea of the several pillows on the bed, making it even more comfortable. The room was nice size for having 4 people staying in it. On the negative, there was no type of air circulation in the room (we had a smoking room), would have been nice to have at least a small window to open up to let some fresh air in from time to time (we were on the 12th floor). The bathroom did not have a fan, so after each shower, we had to wait several minutes before the next person showered, otherwise it was just way to hot and steamy. It was crazy that you had to pay $3.95 for a bottle of water and get charged $.75 for the daily paper, which we didn't even know we were getting. The bar was nice and comfortable place to sit and relax, but the drink prices were outrageous. $5 for a bottle of beer, that is just wrong. One gal had ordered a strawberry margarita, she didn't get it because they were out of strawberries, excuse me?!? Have you ever heard of running to the grocery store? You do want to keep your customers happy? Don't you?! The funny thing is that during our lunch at the conference, were wer served fresh strawberries. Hmmmm, what is wrong with that picture???? Food prices were too high also. So we ate elsewhere and purchased our pop and water from the local convienence store. Lastly, when we were leaving our room, this gentleman came up with a cart to take our luggage down for us, he was a very friendly guy. When we met up with him in the lobby, he was quickly told to go do something else, then this other guy took our cart and brought it to our car. We didn't even get a chance to tip the first guy, who had done all of the work, because he was shooed away so quickly. Overall, I was disappointed, I felt that if you stay in a place that has a "big" name, they should be more accommedating to its clients, like give bottled water and papers free! And maybe bring the drink and food prices down?
