Sagamore Motor Lodge, Royal Oak

A friend of mine told me about this place. A family member was in Beaumont Hospital and I wanted a place that was close by. This place was clean and the people were very friendly and helpful. I'm writing this because I believe this is a nice place and I wanted others to know it. It looks like they put a lot of work into making the place look nice while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere.

It's very nice to see "Jesus is the reason for the season.",on your sign! I am a Beaumont employee and drive by every work day.

This was one of the filthiest hotels I ever stayed in. I reported to the staff that the room smell horrible and my kids socks were tar black from the carpet. They stated they would shampoo the carpet the next day. All they did was throw plain water on the floor. The room and kitchen was very very very nasty !!!!

No joke this place is soooo filthy... I complained in a respectful manner, asking for another room or at least clean the room and change the sheets but the staff was rude and didn't even compromise with a price adjustment... I found the bed to have hairs and some discoloration on the sheets as if they were not even changed at all... I am furious because I reserved this room hoping that it would be a great place to sleep after going out for New Years.. NEVER AGAIN... I would not recommend this place, I could not bear to think of staying there the night. I took my belongings, room paid for and all, and left to another hotel. Bad customer service and out of place in 'Royal Oak'

very dirty staff also was rude there are much better motels closer to nightlife in the area you get what you pay for ....not much find somewhere else to stay
