Holiday Inn Mansfield Foxboro, Mansfield

I don't really believe the review my Mike on 8-3-09. It sounds a bit exagerrated and just not true. Maybe not a 5 star hotel, but very nice and an overall good experience. If the place had as many problems as Mike stated, how could they stay in business? Don't be afraid to book a room here...it's quite a nice experience.

Booked a suite for my wifes Bday to stay at after the Toby Keith concert. Tried to check in at 3pm, was told room would not be ready until atleast 5:30. Thin blonde girl at front desk is very rude and actually said " the concert doesn't start til 7pm so whats the big deal if the room wont be ready til 5:30" Manager switched our room to a standard, not what we booked. Room was missing ice bucket, info booklet with menus, soap, and shampoo. repeatedly requested soap and NEVER got any. Finally at midnight someone brought us up 5 bottles of shampoo and told us to wash with it, because they couldn't find any soap. There was a heavy odor of nicotine and heavy nicotine staining on vents and smoke detector. Paint was peeling on bath ceiling, tub surround was not finished, toilet didn't operate correctly, overall bad condition.Even the hot and cold on the shower dial were reversed, if a child uses that shower and sets the water to where it says cold he or she could seriously be burned. Cold was listed on left hot on right, must have hired some discount construction company? It was apparent that this room was not finished being renovated, but it must have been the only one left to put us in since they could not get us into the room we booked. Oh the manager gave us free breakfast, even that was disgusting, cold and tasteless and very small portions. Been trying to get a refund through the corporate feedback form, but haven't heard back yet. Their policy clearly states that if they can't make it right, they don't expect you to pay. If you must stay here, bring your own soap. Worst customer service ever.

My friend and I attend a concert at the Tweeter Center, we stayed here for 3 nights, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the bathroom on the other hand wasn't as clean as the room, it was hair in the sink and shower. I would stay at this hotel again if I flew in to attend a show at the Tweeter Center.

The food was great as well as our reception coordinator. Unfortunately, we never saw our matre'd and when we needed him he wasn't around. The honeymoon suite was divine. Make sure you request the room with the corner jacuzzi tub. It's worth it. The room service was great and everything was priced well. Thank you for a great wedding reception and first honeymoon night. They were very accommodating with our wedding party and their assistance.

Great staff, other than the day lady at the front desk. The pub is alive with friendly staff. The pool and hot tub are the best. The rooms are upgraded since the renovations. We stop here whenever we can.

The room smelled musty. The ceiling over the bed was water damaged and falling apart. The ceiling around the ventilation system was moldy. The bathtub was not clean. The staff bragged about the great breakfast. Well, if you like eggs with no taste, sausage and bacon with bad taste, and hair in your potatoes (which my wife found in her mouth), then have at it. We went here for a quiet get-a-way and near-by concert. The staff was nice but overall it was a very disappointing hotel.

Could not have been a much more pleasant experience. Staff even dressed in proper JB attire to greet all party-goers. Pool and jacuzzi was a nice way to start the night. I would have to say that the staff really went above and beyond. Special thank you to Teddy(sp?) from the front desk, pleasant personality and extremely helpful. SOMEBODY DESERVES A RAISE FOR SURE!! Thanks for the good time.
