Horrible
By Artisticsol, 09/28/08
Do not stay here. The hotel is old. The lobby is dark. The rooms are dirty and dusty. You can see dust in the carpet. The bathroom has exposing pipes and is dark. The shower curtain had stains and the comforter was full of stains. PICK ANOTHER HOTEL!!!

terrible customer service; will never stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/06
while trying to make a reservation, i called 10 times before i actually made the reservation. each time i called, the person on the line would tell me to leave my name and number and someone would call me back promptly. of course this never happened. i took down names of the persons on the line and the persons who would be calling me back. it was like a scam where they kept using different names each time. e.g. one time i got a person named bill who said joe would call me back. then when i called joe told me phil would call me back. our stay was just as bad as the customer service. the room wasnt made when we checked in. they apologized and moved us to another room. when we moved to that room, there was somebody else in it already. this holiday inn is just not worth anybodys time or money.

Try some place your welcome
By bridget, 01/18/06
Recently attended a wedding at the Holiday Inn Berkshire's. It was obvious that the family had attempted to throw a wonderful party. However the Holiday inn did little to help them pull it off. First the dining area was lovely but the dance floor was in a separate room. You had to stand on the dance floor to watch people dance which left little room for the participants. The bartender was the least friendly person I have ever met and it was something everyone spoke about. Our dinner did not come for several hours and we didn't receive the main course till after 9pm. To top it off it was cold and poorly cooked. Local guest who wished to stay at the hotel and have a special evening with out the worry of driving were turned away. I own a well respected business in town and my husband owns two. We were denied a room because we did not live more then 50 miles from the venue. Over all I am happy I attended because I know now not to ever plan an event there nor will I visit the restaurant again. I feel they owe the families an apology and even a partial refund it was horrible.

Terrible time in the country
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/05
We stayed here because we have family locally. We were met with a staff of rude people. The pool was dirty. It was poorly lit in the basement. I was not inpressed at all. When I go on vacation and pay for a room I expect mutual respect from the employees. I won't be back.

great view!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/16/05
we had a great time staying at this hotel. We used the pool and steam room. Our room was very spacious and had a great view of north adams and the mountains. we will definitely come back. It's a great value and was fun family trip. The restaurant on the other hand wasn't that great and the took forever (not the greatest with 4 kids under 6!)

Will come back again!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/05
I just recently had my first visit at Holiday Inn, No. Adams. I loved the view of the mountains from my room. I found the staff very friendly, the hotel and rooms clean. The location was great, within walking distance to stores and restaurants. A cute little town.

Unprofessional service
By Lyane, 05/06/05
We had to change rooms after unpacking because the TV wasn't working. There was a blood stain on the mattress cover which was (thank God) covered by a sheet. This is our 4th time there and we've always encountered something wrong.... no ashtrays in smoking room, half a roll of toilet paper, no kleenex, and the staff talks down to you I guess because we pay cash everytime... we usually have no choice to stay there since it's always last minute planning when we have to go to North Adams...But will look into going somewhere else next time...
