Ballpark convenient
My friends, my husband, and myself were going to a Red Sox game and found the hotel to be very convenient. We arrived 2 hours before the posted check-in time and the front desk person let us check in to our rooms early at no extra charge, which was wonderful. We put our stuff in our rooms and called the Concierge to get us a cab because we were heading to a Brewery, for a tour, before the game. The Concierge said no problem, once we got downstairs there was no cab and were told the best way to get a cab was to hail one on the road. An employee did that for us.
After the brewery, the game, and a little night life we went back to the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room looked clean, with the exception of a cracked sink. The next day we all got up and got ready to leave, check-out was noon. At about 9:00 am our room door opened and it was housekeeping who was coming into clean. They apologized and left. The housekeepers went to every room on our floor and just went into peoples rooms to see if they were occupied. It was uncomfortable to say the least. I have never worked at a hotel, but I would assume the front desk would let the housekeeping staff know which rooms were vacant and could be cleaned. We were their for about another hour before we left. We decided to go elsewhere for breakfast, as it was not complimentary at the hotel. After check-out the hotel did let us leave our vehicle in the parking lot while we went to another establishment for breakfast. That was nice.
Overall the experience was ok. My husband and I had stayed at the hotel a few years ago and it seemed fine, so we thought we would try it again. Would we go back? Not really sure.
