Not at this price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/07
The bathroom is small and very old: Can't do much about the size, but they really need a new shower/tub insert (including the faucets!), new sink fixtures, etc. The air conditioning unit likewise is old, and very noisy. Breakfast buffet no better than much cheaper hotels. No complimentary newspaper outside the room in the morning. The furniture is pretty new and in very good shape, but I wished they'd updated the bathrooms and air conditioners instead!

About Average
By Psycho4Sports, 10/03/05
The Hampton Inn is a typical business hotel serving the Natick/Framingham area. I have stayed there more than a dozen times over the last 12 momnths. Location is probably it's best feature, as it is near the Mass pike enrance, across the street from the Natick mall, and a short ride from dozens of quality restaurants, movie theaters, etc. The hotel itself has no pool, which is a downer, but has a decent exercise room. The attached restaurant is nothing special, serving as more of a pub than as a quality eatery. The free morning breakfast buffet is medium-low quality, the 'hot' food is often cold, but the selection of cold food is usually pretty good. Rooms are clean, though the heating/air-conditioning seems to be a frequent source of annoyance, either not working at all, or not keeping the room in a comfortable temperature zone. Maintenance is usually prompt, and on the occaisions that I insisted on a new room, I was always obliged in a friendly manner. Overall, the hotel is pretty much in line with the other area choices, such as the Courtyard or the Holiday Inn. Price was fair at about $100. per night.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
We intended to stay at this hotel for 2 nights, as we were there for a conference. I got locked out of the room the next morning as the latch apparently slid over when I left the room. After waiting for 45 minutes for the maintenance man to return to let me in, he told me that it was my fault and I should pay more attention when I left the room. (This after I sat in the hallway patiently for most of an hour.) Apparently it was my fault he left the worksite during normal business hours (which he was not supposed to according to the manager). He then got confrontational and said that it was not his fault that he was stuck inline at the convenience store for half an hour....???? The manager was friendly after I said I would be checking out immediately and the housekeepers witnessed the incident. I would not stay anywhere that such a maintenance staff existed. Besides, the hallways and rooms are not very clean. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Too much machine noise
By Nancy, 05/31/05
Room was facing front and the machine noise coming from the 1st floor roof below was so loud it was hard to sleep. Room was a nice size. Breakfast was disgusting! (but free).
