About Average
The Hampton Inn is a typical business hotel serving the Natick/Framingham area. I have stayed there more than a dozen times over the last 12 momnths. Location is probably it's best feature, as it is near the Mass pike enrance, across the street from the Natick mall, and a short ride from dozens of quality restaurants, movie theaters, etc. The hotel itself has no pool, which is a downer, but has a decent exercise room. The attached restaurant is nothing special, serving as more of a pub than as a quality eatery. The free morning breakfast buffet is medium-low quality, the 'hot' food is often cold, but the selection of cold food is usually pretty good. Rooms are clean, though the heating/air-conditioning seems to be a frequent source of annoyance, either not working at all, or not keeping the room in a comfortable temperature zone. Maintenance is usually prompt, and on the occaisions that I insisted on a new room, I was always obliged in a friendly manner.
Overall, the hotel is pretty much in line with the other area choices, such as the Courtyard or the Holiday Inn. Price was fair at about $100. per night.
