Description

The Revere arrives in Boston as a premiere independent, luxury hotel and entertainment destination. Inspired by Boston??s revolutionary spirit, the property pays reverence to the city??s rich history and storied past while embracing a modern edge and reveling in the non-traditional. The Revere breathes new life into the spaces formally inhabited by The Radisson and Stuart Street Playhouse, located on 200 Stuart St., in the heart of Boston??s vibrant theatre district. Following a dramatic transformation and under the guidance of new ownership, Northwood Hospitality, the property boasts a 356-room boutique hotel; an exciting nightlife concept (the Emerald Lounge); a film and live entertainment venue (Theatre 1); and a versatile, multipurpose setting for events.Located in the center of the city, this 356-room hotel offers 325 guest rooms, 30 deluxe suites and 1 presidential suite. The lobby of The Revere serves as its prologue, a sleek and sophisticated opening that sets the stage for the acts to follow. The Revere will also introduce the Emerald Lounge, a sophisticated and lively lounge and entertainment concept. An allusion to Boston??s sprawling Emerald Necklace and the brightness and glory discovered in the capital city of Oz, Emerald is destined to become the wicked jewel of Boston??s hospitality scene. The 6,000 square foot Ultra Lounge is designed to cater to a diverse and eclectic mix of patrons from the after work professional to the local late night reveler. The glamorous and enchanting ambience of Emerald will be complimented with creative craft cocktails and utensil-free cuisine.

A tourist trap
By ,
Ouch. We went there on Saturday night with a group of ASW friends visiting from out of town and what a disaster of a place. If your friends are coming from NYC, Chicago, London or anywhere with a good variety of lounges and bars by all means don't bring them to Emerald. It is a poor choice. Boston has a problem with good lounges but this place is terrible even by Boston standards. First, it tries to be something that it isn't. Super pretentious but without substance and glamour. Instead, rather dry and embarrassing. Second, DANCING IS NOT ALLOWED (But hey we all love to stand stiff for 20 minutes waiting for a drink, don't we?). Most people were very stiff. Third, it was a saturday night and it was sadly empty. Most groups don't stay in for more than 20 minutes (I was there for one hour and saw two groups of badly dressed baccalaureate parties come in, sniff at the place, and leave without even having a drink!). Fourth, they have a clueless fashion police at the door, which I saw refusing entry to a few people. How Emerald came with their idea of what is allowed and what is not allowed might be beyond comprehension even for the Emerald staff but then they don't seem to know what they are doing anyways. At some point I heard the doorman go consult with his fashionista (oh my) about what were clearly a girls very style sandals. Offensive? Then I saw this stylish super good looking couple who would have gotten in even at the standard hotel in NYC be given a hard time. I think they left annoyed once they realized that the place was not worth it. Fifth, the lighting is terrible. That's right, the green light might make your date feel like running away. In a sentence: it is a tourist trap and an embarrassment to the hotel.

Great service and we'll definitely come back!
By ,
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Radisson Hotel when we visited Boston for the Memorial Day weekend. Our flight arrived very early, around 6:30 a.m., and we arrived at the hotel around 7 a.m. We asked the front desk if we could possibly check in earlier than the normal check-in time and a room was available within a few hours. The hotel staff was very informative of where to go and what to do in Boston, as it was our first time there. They were very friendly and helpful at all times. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff's demeanor and professionalism. The room was very clean and its size was spacious enough. The last time I stayed at the Radisson was in LA, and I enjoyed the hotel there as well. Radisson hotels are my new favorite hotels!

I would love to go back !

Housekeeping did an excellent job.Everything was clean, clean, clean.Very friendly atmosphere. All kind of restaurants including fast food are just a walking distance, we mean minutes way.The traffic is not crazy and the side walks are very comfortable. We think that the beautiful indoor pool has an emergent need for a shower.

Good location, clean room, recommended
By ,
This hotel is in a great location with restaurants, bars, and nightlife all around. Booked a deluxe King room on the 17th floor with a balcony and walked into a HUGE room which looked more like a suite! Everything was great at this hotel and I would highly recommend staying here and saving money compared to staying on the Harbor or in the Financial District...you aren't that far from those places anyway. The only negative comment I can make, which is small, is that the room had no fridge in it??? Small price to pay for a great room with a great location and view!

great place to stay
By ,
I've stayed at this hotel twice now, and I really liked it. A better value than some of the bargain hotels. You will pay a little more, and add another 28 bucks for parking. Its totally worth it. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Awesome baths, with huge tubs, great shower head and beautiful fixtures. Did I mention sleep number beds, with 6 pillows? The staff is really nice, and the location is central to everything. I will stay here again!

Perfect hotel!
This is one of the best hotels Ive ever been to. It was near everything like Quincy Marketplace and there was a lot of room. The beds were brand new sleep number beds and you can simply choose your comfort.
