good motel,value for money just problem with flies in summer but other then that its not bad cause they cleaned my room every 2 days plus they got big appartments with extremly low price, so that's good compared to past when i stayed here pros- value for money,cheap motel from all nearby cons- when they will open swimming pool

To tell the truth I was at this place for a while and the things I saw while I was there you would never want to see your worst enemy live. Bugs everywhere,Bed bugs eating you every night...holes in the walls...people living there without paying because they were hired to repair the place but could not because they would not buy the things needed to repair it...this place stunk worse then anyplace I have ever been...worse then a chicken farm and trust me thats not a lie...fights every night , no keys to the rooms that you did rent from them and the price of the rooms were made up day by day...the washer did not work so they did not wash the sheets at all...the pillows were dirty with bed bugs in them...the place was full of mold the floors were falling in...this was not a good place at all. The management was a joke they worked worked only when they wanted to work and trust me that was not much at all..the ppl that were suppose to be fixing the place did nothing but drink and have parties because they could not do any work because there was nothing to fix anything with.This place needed more then a little work it needed to be burnt to the ground at that point...There is a good out come to this story the town of delmar shut it down thank you god and then someone bought it and put alot of money into it and from what i have heard it is a very nice place to stay just as it was back in 1997....this hotel has been saved..YOU CAN NOW ENJOY YOUR STAY COUNTRY HEARTH INN & SUITS!!!!!!!

Well the first thing is I don't understand how they are still open. Makes me wonder who does the inspection. Why would the owner continue to run a business futher into the ground with the staff that he has. I would get rid of all of them including the Manager. I know this hotel is an eye sore for the town and for the families that live in that area.

The maid Ms.Jeannie and the maintenance man Mr.Myk were wonderful. The woman at the desk, Cheryl was friendly, kind and helpful. It could use some work but the owners have to put the money into it. Overall it has good potential.

I'm not sure what improvements the previous reviewer was referencing, but from what I saw when I went there in September, I'd hate to see what it was like before these so-called improvements. Our pillows were completely brown (not the original fabric color), the place reeked, the carpet and bathroom floor were so dirty I couldn't possibly take my shoes and socks off, and I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to scrub down the tub before I could take a shower. My husband and I slept fully clothed on top of the blanket using sweatshirts from our car for pillows instead of using the brown disgusting ones provided. In the end, we decided that sleeping in our car probably would have been a better option!

This motel is currently under new management. Though there had been many things that lessened the quality of this motel in the past, there has been a woderful improvement. The staff is friendly and very sociable. They are working very hard to restore this motel to where it should be. Now don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, but it's a nice place to stay. You can't expect luxery from everywhere you go, and if you do, you need to fork out the cash cuz you get what you pay for.

i have never seen a hotel like this before.the door dont lock. Any body can come in anytime when u r sleeping.This place is scary.Trust me.

This was my worst experience ever. Place is like trash.No management at all. No maid no phone.Rooms are nasty and never been cleaned and holes in the wall. You cannot stay here for a minute.Seems like everything is going to fell apart.

rooms stink like dog pee. The charged me extra. The biggest mistake i made was that i didnt read the reviews before I went up there to stay. THERE IS NO DELAWARE CONVENTION CENTER ANY MORE, its torn down, the place is running without a management and is in pahtetic conditions. They charge different than what they tell you. DO NOT stay up there if u atleast take a shower once in a week, its that gross up there. I work for the city and I DO NOT recommend any one stayin up there. What ever they have advertised like a swimming pool and other neccesseites, nothin is up there, is is all demolished with the the delaware convention center building. its a joke. SERIOUSLY.
