Don't waste your money here.

The staff were all very friendly. The facilities when you enter the lobby are very nice as well. Finally, the AC units in the rooms work really well. That is really where the positive ends and the list of negatives begin...
For over 100$ a night, one would expect a pretty nice room. Considering we could have taken our business to any of the other very nice local branches of any of your normal chain hotels, we expected to get something better than we would from those given we are paying more. FAIL. First off, the "convention center" is more like a few rooms where people can have wedding receptions because there was nothing that remotely suggested that anyone would actually do business in this establishment. Keep this in mind if you are planning anything that is in any way considered "business." You will not be impressing any of your clients here...
In the room, no packets of information about the hotel, dining, area, etc. The pillows are far from comfortable so make sure you bring your own. Their TVs are old and the volume on our TV was not working. Anytime we turned it on we had to fight with the volume knob on the TV itself to hear it at all (the remote didn't work either). Heck, they didn't even give us a pen and paper to take down phone numbers and information. Now on to the bathroom...Towels are ridiculously small for any adult to actually use so unless you are into using hand towels to cover yourself, bring your own. To be fair though, I will point out that their shower heads were very nice and gave great water pressure.
Now on to their dining area... We got in late and went to have a drink at the bar. I cannot speak to the quality of the food as all I wanted was a drink after the long drive. The bartender was less than friendly and mixed some less than impressive drinks. The impressive part of this experience was the bill. Know that it is a hotel and they will charge you excessively. I looked at my bill and thought for a moment that I was in a Downtown Atlanta nightclub because the house well drinks that I had been not enjoying were not only underwhelming, but were the cost of a normal top shelf drink in any other place.
Now lets talk customer service... As I said they are very smiley people(with the exception of the bartender) and this suggests that they would be great if you have a problem. Enter the huge redneck family with their loud barking dog in the room next to me. Right around 830pm they wanted to go to the pool and leave their dog behind. Well this dog had separation anxiety because it barked for the entire hour they were gone. I called the front desk and asked very nicely that something be done since we had a wedding to go to in the morning and were trying to go to sleep. Her response "we will give them a call." Well thank you so much...now the dog will have a little red blinking light to bark at too. Obviously the family was not there or the dog wouldn't be barking. Any self-respecting hotel at this point, would move me to a different room so I can sleep. Not this one! They let the dog bark itself hoarse until the rednecks got back to the room to shut it up. The kicker to this... I am awoken at 7am to the same dog barking because the family had went to eat. I called again to the front desk and was told the same thing "we will call." CALLING WONT WORK!!!! They should have moved us (or them) the night before. I found out from others in the wedding staying at the same hotel, that we were not the only ones to complain that night about said dog. Customer service in this hotel...well at least they do nothing with a smile.
Overall, there were a few big things and lots of little things that should be expected of an establishment that charges well over $100 a night. With 8 chain hotels right nearby, do not waste your money only to be underwhelmed here. Take your chances with one of the chains...
