Captain Lord Mansion, Kennebunkport

This is the most relaxing place I have ever stayed. My husband and I both have high stress jobs so we come here ounce a year to unwind and de-stress. The people are so nice and the beds are to die for.

This was the most romantic place I have every been. The husband and I can't wait to fo back there. We stayed in the Marylord Room and all I can say is WOW. What a wonderful room.

There is no equal in the Bed & Breakfast industry. My wife and I have been there 11 times and will visit in March for number 12. The service, accomidations and food have always been top-notch. Whatever you do during your lifetime staying at The Captain Lord Mansion is one of the things you need to do.

It was hard to believe that an Inn could make you feel so relaxed. The moment we entered the Inn we felt as if we were in a a very special place. The rooms were the lap of luxury and the beds were like sleeping on a comfortable cloud. The breakfast was lavish and all requests were granted. Would we go back? Again and Again.

We visted in late September and the weather was perfect. The service was excellent and aimed to please. They made you feel right at home and very helpful with all your needs. The rooms were very confortable and had the charm you would expect in a 200 year old home. The breakfast was outstanding in a warm and coszy setting. The location is excellent and within walking distance of almost everything. A great home base to see the Maine coast. We will return often.

A friend of ours recommended this B & B to us when she heard we were stopping Kennebunkport for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Oriental room. Wow!! It was beautiful. They also had a frig in our room stocked with soda for us, chocolate covered blueberries, and a commerative ornament as a wedding gift. In the kitchen they had dessert for everyone and lemonade so you could help yourself. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous, although my husband thought it was a little on the small side. It was three courses, first yogurt with cereal and/or fruit, then a yummy muffin, and finally a egg and cheese souffle with bacon. Our bedroom had a fireplace and large 2 person Jacuzzi tub. It was a large room with antique furniture and the most comfortable Kind sized canopy bed. At first I thought it was a bit pricey. Now that I have stayed there I realize that it was so worth it. We will definitely return. Remember to borrow the bikes and go for a ride through the beautiful neighborhood and visit all the great shops that are a short walk away. Highly recommend!!

The Catain Lord Mansion is a beautiful old inn with rooms that don't have televisions but do have fireplaces. Perefect place for a romantic getaway.
